"Pure Resets

Maintaining a pure account has been tricky with the advent of Evolution of Combat. Now that Legacy Mode’s firmly established, we feel it’s time to offer two completely free packages to those interested in reclaiming their pure accounts: one resetting Constitution and Prayer levels, the other resetting Defence.

The Constitution and Prayer pack will take you down to level 10 and 1 respectively, but you’ll need combat stats no greater than 5 if you want to use it. The Defence pack takes you down to level 1, but your total level in Attack, Strength, Magic and Ranged must be 10 or greater. Both packages will reset any quests or tasks that require the corresponding stats."

I for one, am STOKED about this. My 99 range pure can now get rid of that disgusting 40 def that I once got.

 

Damn for once they are doing something good for the game.

 

Legacy was also good I think, likewise 07.

 

Yea true, but after tons and tons of MicroTransaction updates, something that helps the community is nice.

 

That's true. From the introduction of the wheel of fortune bs and onwards was pretty crook.

 

Now the market will be flooded with pures

 

Yeah currently flooded with rare names, now to add to that pures.. Such aesthetics in RS at the moment

 

That seems great tbh, will really help get pure pking back into Legacy, can't wait!

What the fuck. More poor execution by Jagex, this ignores all the other combat skills completely, gg ex-tanks? There shouldn't be these needless restrictions on stat resetting.

 

I don't understand, what is it that you'd prefer? There's also HP and Prayer resets.

Sucks for the people like m1ni, who have achieved a lot as a pure. Maxed mains can just go pure and have the same achievements.

Have they said anything regarding quests? I've been looking to reset the defence on my Handcannon pure, but i'm not sure if it'll re-lock the quest rewards or w/e.

 

Yes, you'll lose all quests/quest rewards!
