So I just logged in again for the first time in forever.

I don't mind my name showing up, this accounts obviously never been touched with bots and never will be. I'm thinking about playing again for the hell of it but so much has changed. Is this game still just as enjoyable for most of you? I stopped playing once i maxed out on my botted account because of the ridiculousness of bots. Then again I heard bots are pretty bannable now and hardly used?

Alot of jagex staff watching this site,- and yes,it depends if you enjoy playing eoc or 07 more.

 

The game is very playable if you liked eoc, its just the same with a new interface.


Botting isn't really recommended right now, there has been a massive increase in bans even for people that have been doing it safely for years.

 

Definitely still enjoyable if you're willing (and able) to adapt to the changing times and come to grips with the new combat system.

If not, you can always try RS07 instead.

 

The new combat system seems frustrating, i'm not sure if it makes pve easier or harder yet, i guess i'll find out.

 

While its click intensive it makes pvm significantly easier.

 

It's honestly not worth your time dude. RS is slowly dying because of shit updates. The golden years of Runescape are over...

 

All the servers only have like 100-200 people in them, and there are tons of maxed out people. It's really sad actually.

 

Well seems like you starting to hate rs aswell,and talking about it dying (see heads post above^ ).
Considering that i suggest you to not play then, but if you want to play again here are some positive sites of the combat update (which some ppl really like,and those who don't like it play 07scape now so doesn't matter).

Positive sites:
PvM is easy,not as challenging as before
Can level skills without bots fast
Pking is fun, only 'pk' exists in w137/18 or warbands though.

 

I haven't seriously played Runescape since October last year! I never thought I would quit, but the way the updates had been going around that time and the thought of EOC coming out drove me to quit. But hey, you might enjoy it so don't let the negative stuff other's say put you off. Give it a chance

 

i heard maxed people with Couple bill total exp have been banned

so not worth botting at all anymore just to be safe,
i botted to 1-75 wc and got banned perm lol

But the new rs3 imo is terrible, has about 13k players and used to have about 150k players back 2years.

 

Playing now is a waste of time, I don't think it will ever get more players... EVEN if the current EOC-fans love it so much. it won't get the thousunds of players who quit, back.

The golden years were 2004-2010 for me.
and yeah lol, less then 350 people in each server now. Back then it used to be 500 + just proves one thing, RS is dead.
(07 is ok though.)

 

I think the actual gameplay now is more fun than it used to be. Interface/Graphics are better than ever and it's just more interesting in general.

 

Rs3 has more players then 07, especially considering the amount of bots reduced and compared to 07,07 has alot of bots now,all of the eoc bots went over there or just got banned.

 

I'm actually interesting in finding out just how many bots there are on RS07 compared to real players.

Something tells me it will be very close, or even swing in the way of RS07 having more bots than legit players
