    2h spear or maul? which is the best or is it all just preference? im pretty sure they all have the same stats, it just the fighting style.

    I use a Primal Maul and it's a lot better then the spear.I'd suggest the maul.

    More monsters are weak to slash (2h) than to crush (maul).

    Depending on your level I think now primal maul is the best until you can use primal 2h
