Playing runescape with a console controller?

Hey I heard that there is a program called Xpadder that allows you to control your keyboard with a controller, thus allowing you to play runescape with it. However, I am looking for advice on how I could slightly alter the mechanics of the program to allow me to play runescape with my Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Racing Wheel. Any advice would be appreciated - thanks

Are you doing this for the lulz or do you legitimately want to play RS with that thing? I really don't think you'd have a good time if you were.

It mentions "Also steering wheels, dance mats, drum kits, guitars." in the description. Maybe that'll give you some help

 

Runescape should only be on computers, bringing it to other platforms and devices is stupid.. would be very hard to play and no one would play it that way anyway

 

I'm sorry guys, but I must disagree. I hear all the top quality pkers and stakers all use a steering wheel during play and that it is needed the most enjoyable experience.

 

How would you pk with a steering wheel?!

As stated before, RS is much more difficult to play on another other than a keyboard and a mouse

Also if you tap the break peddle twice after switching to a maul it will use the special attack without having to switch interface menus.

I've heard of PKers using the steering wheel before, programming the different buttons to different pixels, so it can click instantly over a dds or a gmaul when they click the button, and wield it. I've got the same steering wheel as you, so you've got a nice amount of programmable buttons, as well as paddles and pedals. I'd look into programming programs for your computer, and go from there.

 

Well, it is possible, but really, why would you do this lol? It just makes thing more complicated and therefor giving other users an advantage if you were, lets say, to pk
