Wanting to gain Runescape Trust

Hey guys, i'm new here on Sythe. I've used PlayerAuctions as a method to purchase runescape related items, and just recently found this site. I am wondering how a newbie like myself would earn the trust and respect of this community, as I would like to be able to deal in the Runescape business myself (Questing, Goldselling, Firecape, Torso, Skilling, ETC). Thank you for your time, would love to service you all some day!

 

Im trying to gain trust aswell, its not easy. Sell some gp or something for some vouches first, because nobody really wants someone on their account with no vouches or few of them

 

Just do everything you would do when/if you get trusted.
Perhaps offer a free questing service for a few people so people actually know you can quest. Then charge a low price. After you have a few vouches and you've been on the forum a while, people will start trusting you. Eventually you can increase prices because you are more trusted.

I suggest reading all stickies.
People who fail to read stickies (it takes what? 2 minutes to read them all?) often get scammed.

Do plenty of trades, offer free services, get a donator status and sythe verified user. Also, vouches are used to see how much you are trusted.

 

Maybe do a free service to gain some vouches & feedback.
Follow the rules and don't make yourself look like a jackass.
Make acquaintances with fellow traders, and be known within the community.

The rest takes care of itself.

 

It takes a long time usually, basically you have to go first a bunch of times or do a lot of stuff for free. IMO, it's really not worth the time or effort (usually takes months or more), when you can just use PA and have both parties protected against scams.

 

Take your time and plan out your thread. offer free services.

Oh almost forgot, don't scam people.

 

Oh it's worth it alright. Once you reach a reputable status, it will be much easier to do business and the money will just flow in.

Take the time to earn that, and in the meantime, learn how to prevent scams, imposters and PayPal charge backs. Take it one step at a time.
