07 Rares, merch or not?

Recently i bought a Pumpkin pretty cheap i must say to myself. I wonder, do you guys think it's able to merch this if we talk about atleast 1 month later, will the price increase or will it be even worse? I need more opinions, especialy on masks, and the partyhats.

Personally I think that 07 runescape (and any version of runescape) will be well dead before there is any substantial profit to be made on rares. From an investment standpoint I wouldn't bother.

No, dont merch them. Only more and more are being pumped into the game, I would say 1/4th the population would have it, so no.

 

They're gonna keep appearing, so no point. If you've got spare cash lying around then sure have 10 of everything just incase one day it gets valuable.

A lot more people will be getting pumpkins when Halloween comes around so they will become virtually useless. Every Halloween pumpkins are going to be pumped into the game as well, so over a long period of time they are more likely to go down in price than up.

 

Might as well use them as food, that's all they will be worth since they won't ever be discontinued.

 

Well i've actually made profit, i'm currently selling them for EoC, but i guess you guys are right. But let's hope for the best

I wouldn't personally merch pumpkins, because of the fact that they will continue coming back, and the fact that you can't wear it, so it won't be as popular to the people.

pumps are dirt cheap alrdy, people trying to get 300k out of them.

 

i'm buying them for 500k and swap it for EoC, sold like 18 today lol

 

Merching any rare is probably a bad idea. Considering people are actually trying to hoard them now, opposed to their original release back in the day. Not to mention there are bots designed for collecting them.

 

The reason rares are so valuable in eocscape is because at the time people obtained them, no one expected them to skyrocket in price. Since everyone has already come to expect this, there's no element of scarcity or demand

 

They will not get anywhere near the prices they command in EOC.

 

well after the end of the week the price should rise... but towards halloween expect a crash since after that everyone will have them

 

I'm guessing their prices are going to be pretty volatile for a bit so you could make something merching them in the short term. I wouldn't hold onto many for too long though, like everyone else is saying they're pretty much worthless.
