Got scammed, looking for some advice

The situation is I got scammed by a kid that had good vouches, I went first and still got scammed.

He got banned for this.

Now I really want to get my account back, I'm reading it's always very easy to recover an account. However, there was no email address linked to the account, and now there is, but that's his email. How do you go into recovering an account if you don't have the email? I can answer all recoveries and w/e.

PS: This isn't advice regarding scamming, but regarding getting a scammed account back.

Send an email with the details from when you owned the account to [email protected], although you could be waiting quite a while

 

Sorry to break this to you but the person that scammed you is not trusted clearly they joined like two weeks ago you need to be more careful.

And yeah email them

 

Yeah I know, but I figured it would be safe since he had like 10 positive vouches... guess vouches cant be trusted either >.<

Contacting Jagex's customer support emails is probably your best bet, sorry for your loses.

 

I wouldn't says it will be easy or you get it back at all but goodluck.
Just email then you can go their site and go to customer support for more info.

 

you need all the info or you got no chance creation stuff membership and old passwords any of them missing they will prob decline it and ask for more info

 

include stuff like any previous membersip transaction id's and origional IP and date account created

It's great you haven't been put off the black by a scammer, and glad to hear you got your account back.

Protip though (my personal opinion) - Don't sell/buy accounts, things like what you have encountered already will happen constantly

 

Tell them the account was hacked, and you can provide the IP address the account was made with and it will match your current IP. That will recover it like 90% of the time.

From his vouches he had one trusted user vouch, zuzel111, and that was for MMing the trade. He wasn't trusted.
