Just trying to change my freaking email...

So of course every now and then I have someone else log into my account when I buy membership with gold or something, well I just bought mems from someone and go to change my password and now you have to do those stupid email reset things. My accounts 8 yrs old, I have no freaking clue what email I put in there so then I had to go through any old email I could remember.

Couldn't find an email account attached to it so I just emailed them from my gmail asking if I could change it, since ya know they got rid of the effective ticket submission system directly on the website and now it's all email bs. No response after 4 hrs, go to log in to RS and my accounts locked. I expected that but an email would be nice, not even one of those crappy automated ones.

2 days later still no response. I looked to see if there was some number I could call yesterday, found absolutely nothing. Checked the forums account w/e section and find out they could take a week to reply....

I could give them a mountain of evidence to show that it's my account and I'm still just sitting here waiting :/. Anyone happen to know a number I could call so I can curse some people out?

Include all the relevant information you have and the new e-mail. Hopefully you'll get a change.

 

But if the a holes locked my acc then they've looked at the email :/.

 

What did you say to them in the email? also, I believe that they would have locked your account due to multiple IP's logging in, then straight after you sent that email and they flagged your account.

 

At first I just sent them an email with the account name and asked if I could change the registered email as I was trying to change my password (probably been a year since I've changed my pass anyway) and what info they would want to prove it was my account (isp, prev passwords, credit card info of past memberships). No reply at all :/. Also multiple ips shouldn't be to big of a deal, I travel a bit so theres probably 10+ different ips logged.

Edit: got an email after emailing 30 mins after emailing them AGAIN, seems I'm finally getting somewhere.

 

If you don't remember any of the details then your account might be gone for good.

 

5 hrs later after replying to their email asking for info, absolutely nothing :/. And I have all the details in the world except for what my email is for that account.

 

I'm waiting since 1month for a email response from :

I'd email them again then . They didn't even respond until my 3rd email.

Edit: 3 days, 6 emails, 2 responses, a recovery attempt, all to change my email. Gawd I miss the old RS. Seems emailing them and telling them how ridiculously long they're taking is the only way to do this.
