What's Happening To RuneScape In General?

What happened to the enjoyment of achieving a 99? Even if you botted the 99 I still remember I the joy I felt when I had finished botting 99 Range on my pure.

What happened to the charishment of GP? I remember back in the day even having 1M was amazing, now when I see 1B I think to my self, another bulk of GP to sell.

Is The Game RuneScape even fun now and days? All it is for me is to make a few bucks IRL from the game...
