    Scammed on PlayerAuctions

I was selling my account on PlayerAuctions. Once the buyer bought my account, PlayerAuctions ordered me to "change" the e-mail to the buyer's e-mail. I then did it, and then the password and e-mail is changed by the buyer. Next thing I knew when I woke up is that the buyer disputed the trade and claimed that the Username/Password doesn't work. I challenged the dispute and this is what I said:

Now will I still be able to win the dispute and get the $45 or keep the account or not win the dispute?

Did you make sure to take pics at least during the whole process for at least some sort of proof that you did what you were supposed to?

    Better than nothing at all.

You should be gathering any proof that you have that you have done everything you were supposed to do.

I'm unaware of how long a PA dispute takes to be decided on, so work as much as you can as fast as you can.

This is a buyer/seller beware, if you aren't prepared for something bad to happen how are you going to complain we you can't provide solid proof of anything you claim?

You think I could have a chance on this one?

It's already in the hands of a final "committee".

Well, I would be trying to gather up proof of anything really.. I know it's not very reliable, but you could take screenshots of you trying to log in to RuneScape, and the password not working etc. Any screenshots of skype conversations? PM's? MSN chat logs? Maybe you have some screenshots of the account pre delivery of the log in screen to prove you didn't have recoveries set on the account? Any potential proof that you never recovered the account, small or big.. it all adds up!

You must take a lot of photos and maybe even video it. If you haven't, you're pretty much fucked, as proof is needed to get your cash back.

Without proof, you can't do much.
If I were on the playerauctions committee deciding if you should get your mine or not. I would deny you claim as a mere email isn't much proof at all.

However they may be more lenient than myself. All you can do is show them the email and hope for the best.

You should have known that not everyone who uses PlayerAuctions use Sythe, silly.

I could've tried that, but I can't do much anymore since I can't submit any more evidences.

Buying/selling accounts on PA is very stupid. I did it once, and account was hacked back in a few days, disputed it with PA and they did nothing for me, except tell me that they contacted seller and he confirmed that account was given. PA is shit, except for GP sales.

PA is getting suspicious, i was buying gp for 100$ and apparently the payment "failed", then they suggested me to make another purchase while the 100$ was "awaiting" in paypal...so i had to fight with PA for a week to get them to decline the payment..

That's the thing though, PA is there to act as a middleman, they're not going to help out after the account has been swapped over and you have confirmed this.. that's not what their website is about.
