Banned for RWT help anyone?

I never really RWT, so I need some help from some of you guys who have experienced this before. I bought 100m yesterday and about 20 minutes later, I was banned



complete bs if you ask me, i was nearing max cape and needed the rsgp for 99 herb, ive only done rwt like two times. help anyone?

don't think it's his fault though, called me immediately on skype after i told him i got banned and his account is still fine. maybe i was targeted? :S i heard rwt bans are pretty rare and this is like the second rwt trade i've ever done.

 

Who did you purchase the gold off? I have heard that when purchasing gold from the chinese websites, you have a very high chance of being banned, as they are all monitored.
Also, if you bought bulk all at once, that would be very suspicious.
As far as excuses go, I would have no idea as I've never experienced this problem before. I would suggest getting a bit of advice/creating a legitimate story before submitting a ban appeal

I would say that I was trading 07 gold for eoc gold.

I agree, but there's no way that Jagex could trace it all the way back here.

 

The person you bought gold from is from Singapore, very close to China, maybe Jagex saw that and banned. Also he uses the Skype ID : pb_questguy > He is from powerbot => his gold might be farmed with the powerbot client which is tracked by Jagex, and thus by buying powerbot farmed gold tracked by Jagex, you got banned.

A permanent ban isn't so permanent it lasts for around 2 years. I'd suggest making out that you had no acknowledgment of the RWT rules, post as a concerned parent; be sure to stress that your 'child' had your credit card, and wasn't totally aware of what they were doing by RWT and that they're easily influenced by the advertisers ingame. Sort of like a concerned parent justifying their child's disability (The easiest way to get a ban lifted) if you want me to talk it over with you PM me for my Skype.

Honestly, you should have known better than to trade with an IP in Asia as Jagex heavily monitors these. I'll give you the inside scoop, when they become aware of a goldseller they implant markers into the gold seller's cash and moniter where it goes, after they become fully convinced that you're RWTing, they ban you.

Lesson learned I suppose.

I don't buy the Chinese thing..I've bought way more than that and never got infracted. Perhaps because my account has had a high amount of wealth on it for half a decade now though. I had become rich before RWT.

True. However, the accounthelp@jagex address is backlogged for months, but so is their appeal system.
