95-99 Attack

Current Skills are:
95 Attack
89 Strength
87 Defense
90 Hit points
75 Prayer (Haven't done The Temple at Senntisten)
70 Summoning
75 Slayer

I am trying to power level this to 99 over my spring break. The problem is, I have not looked into combat after EOC. I was still thinking that I could possible camp at Waterfiend's for charms and decent experience.

But I was wondering if any of you Runescape peeps, had any better ideas?

 

I Haven't either played much after EoC all though, I have heard people saying Red Spiders, Give decent xp 100-150K/HR. If you search on youtube u might get good suggestions. Good luck

 

waterfiends are better for range xp, you wont get good xp/hr meleeing there.

I suggest maybe armoured zombies.

 

Waterfiends are at least 450k melee xp per hour if done properly.

I tested it myself just earlier today.

 

At 75 att, 78 str, 75 def i'm getting 110k xp/h at deadly red spiders.

Also not using the greatest of gear, going to upgrade soon now I can wear a sara sword (crush attack). Currently using full veracs, str ammy (Yeah, shoulda bought my fury but I was unsure how much they hit ;p) dragon boots and no gloves.

 

If your looking at doing waterfiends with melee you really need the following:

• Void/Void Elite
• C maul
• Bunyip

Otherwise I would strongly recommend Deadly Red Spiders (not actually deadly just the name). You can easily achieve 180k hr + xp there. There are a few locations:

• Edgeville Dungeon (levels 4 to 6 Wilderness)
• Eastern Ruins in the Wilderness
• Wilderness Rune Mine
• Crandor and Karamja Dungeon
• Arandar
• Near the end of the Varrock Sewers
• Chaos Tunnels (Recommend)

Best weapon is a sardadomin sword (worth the investment!)

 

This, note sara sword is only just below 2m, isnt alot.

Just bought full bandos and a sara sword. Got my beserker ring and my fury from bank. Will post in a min how much xp/h i'm expecting once i do a little testing. (At chaos tunnels).

Not overly big increase for me ~ 5-10k extra xp/h with this new armour.

 

I used the same set-up for 80-99 in melee stats and it's around ~150-200k hr (including hp), as your stats rise and depending on the number of players in the world as you.

 

Thanks for the reply's! It seems like the overall opinion is that waterfiends are still the best experience. With that said, I just have a few more questions.

First off, I was going to use a whip with a dragon fire shield. However with EOC updates, would it be better to just use a two handed weapon like a sara sword?

Also, is full void that important? Because I was just going to use guthans. (money not really that much of an issue) As for a c maul, I don't have the dung level and not really looking to raise another skill right now.

 

I used void, I assume it's not that important because the bonus is only around 10% or so but you should get it anyway because it is generally the best armour for all three classes.

Instead of a chaotic maul you can use a godsword, only about 5% less damage and 20% accuracy but it's almost as good or alternatively drygores if you can afford them.

May i ask why not Ancient Caverns?

 

But waterfiends are weak to range?
Last time I went there with void/cmaul/turm/ovls

I hit mostly 0's and here and then would get a very high hit for ko.

 

My plan is to use a sara god sword, full guthans but i'm not sure why choas tunnel and not Ancient Caverns

The ancient cavern is usually very busy with bots. If you go to the Chaos tunnels, there are usually only legit players and very usually not many meaning higher xp and charm rates per hour. It would be easy to camp at the chaos tunnels as long as you take a sheild (for rejuvenate) or take guthans (rejuvenate does just as good job ).

You can get anywhere from 110k to 250k p/h on F2P with decent equipment and a scimitar, there are also good drops. PM me for info.
