EOC version isn't working anymore on mac?

I can load 07 perfectly; no problems there. As of a few days ago whenever I try to load EOC version of runescape, instead of giving me a screen to enter my login and password it just gives me a screen that says something about auto setup. Even when I click it and load the next time I get the exact same screen:



I know you can get past this issue with safe mode but it is extremely difficult to do. I am literally am only successful at doing it 1 out of 20 tries.

How can I get past this issue (without having to get into safe mode)?

 

Happened the other way round today. Eoc worked on mac, but not 07 >.<

 

Is your Java updated?
And try running through the site/ Deleting Cache+ redownloading.

 

I've been having this problem for MONTHS now...and I'm on Windows. I have to safe mode every time. It is a serious pain in the butt...let me know if you figure out a work around man...good luck.

 

Yeah and it was working all of a sudden then the next day this problem starts happening.

 

try reinstalling java?

Don't know WHY on earth you'd want it, but i used the DL Client to bypass this. i had the same issue as you.

 

I just click auto setup and it works fine for me. :3

 

Where to get DL client?

 

Runescape website.

 

This exactly is happening to me aswell , what's the way to fix it guys?

 

Can you show us what happens once you hit auto-setup?

Normally for me I just click yes and it progresses me to the login screen.
