What's going to happen to EoC economy?

With the release of 2007scape and the quitting of so many people... possibly by end of the month the vote will reach 500K and it will be playable for no additional fee... Possibly then adding GE as update.

What's going to happen to EoC economy? Everything is dropping like crazy right now. Is it ever going to go back up in say in month?

To be honest I think after the free month for all members that voted, we will see a massive decrease on the 07 servers. Not only because of a possible extra membership fee they dont want to pay, but also because the feeling of nostalgia only lasts so long and after that it goes back to the game where you have to grind and grind for any reward.

A large number of online players, like in EOC will also become bots.

 

EoC will be ruined economy wise. A lot of items will be dumped into ge so players can trade gold for 07 gold (doesn't break rules), and also more phats will go into storage meaning prices will skyrocket IMO.

 

Unfortunately, I agree with this - especially if the poll does not reach 500k votes (for free 2007 access).

 

I think that EoC economy will be revived with the introduction of new skills and such and with botwatch taking a step forward.

 

I think, prices can only go down from here.

I think the prices will hover around the $0.2/mill mark minimum. How much lower can they go?

 

It`s almost getting to that point now, and yea if they ever went lower than that..nobody would play EOC

 

people would still play, just every body would be rich as hell.

It actually sucks playing it. The nostalgic value for me wore off in the first few hours and im back on EoC.
