Need 99 Smithing Method

The method that I've always been told for 99 smithing is to use addy platebodies all the way until 99.

I'm interesting in hearing other methods however. I'm looking for a method that can be botted AND is at LEAST 60k xp per hour. Could someone post the cheapest method that they've heard of that fits under these guidelines that I've listed?

You can try making gold bars.
99 will cost under 20m, and I'm sure it's around 50-60k xp per hour.
It'll fly by if you're botting.

 

Gold bars are your safest bet for speed + cheapness, if you want profit with cash you will have to go to steel/mith

 

Alright thanks, I'll take this suggestion into consideration. Are you positive they are 60k/hr? I'd like to hear other suggestions.

 

Forgive me if this no longer works, but to get to 99 smith I super heated runite; but I'm unsure of the xp rate sorry. I have to imagine it would be fast tho since you can do it at the bank without a furnace.

And I know there used to be a bot for this.

 

When I last did this a while ago I used gold gaunts with superheating gold bars. I got 40-99 smithing and 55-99 magic in about 6 days total. It was about 120k magic xp an hour and 116k smithing xp an hour.

 

Are those xp rates still accurate? I might do an hour test and see if this works.

I'll calculate the cost if the xp rates are as good as you say they are.

edit: did a little searching for your method. Looks like it will be about 80m and also get me about 12M magic xp. I think that I'm going to try this.

 

Well yes it was accurate from the last time I did it. At the time it cost me like 90m to buy all the gold ores and nature runes, but then I sold gold bars. So it cost a total of about 50m for both 99 magic and smithing.

That's the best xp/gp/time method IMO.
