Types of Pures in RS07

What types of pures do you think will be dominating in RS07?

I personally think a few 1 def's which are low leveled will come off at the top.

Can't wait to see how it pans out once its released.

At higher levels pures will be great, but they'll get ragged easily by range tanks/mains/40def lol

 

One of the strongest accounts back in the day was the DDS pures. There wasn't any godswords or anything of that manner.

 

That's what I'm abit worried about, I've done the casual 'main' pking, but I didn't do much back in 2005 when I played a great deal. So I was thinking, if you max out a pure, you're stats will get similar to a low level main and their defence will dominate you.

DDS has been the most ruthless weapon in all of history. I mean, who doesnt enjoy hitting 2 50s.

 

Zerkers were stilll pretty good. I think I'll start with a gmaul/runescim 1 def pure turn it into a dds pure in time, and get 94 mage and veng and then 45 def will come with that, then I'll be a 60/90/45 zerker

 

60 Attack zerkers were, and always will be the best. Providing you have vengeance, torso, fire cape, zerker ring, zerker helmet, rune boots, rune defender, strength amulet.

I cant remember when the update was put into place, but do you guys remember when you could pk with a fire cape and torso, and when you died run back and pick it back up before it disappears?

I cant remember if this was still around in Aug 2007 or whether it was patched.

As this would have a big influence on what pures people choose and use.

Im considering making a 13 prayer 60 attack rune pure for lower level pking, but i'll be using a range tank as my main

 

I'm sure there will be a lot of zerkers, I'll probably end up making one ;D

Keep in mind there's gonna be nobody to fight against in the high levels for quite a while since everyone starts off fresh. 1 def pures at levels 40-60 will be dominant for a long time.

 

+1 for DDS pure, they were probably the strongest 1 def pures out there. Range tanks were good too, as well as rune pures and zerkers.

 

This is exactly what I was thinking. If this is the case I might have to go with a zerker but am leaning more towards 70-75 def right now.

 

range 2hers remember those guys they would hit you with a magic bow then spec u out with a gmaul and the really pro ones could do all that in one game tick so you wouldn't even know to prepare for it? Yeha those guys gonna dominate.

 

Definitely 1 def pures. They have dominated since RSClassic.

 

Ill start off with a rune scim/mauler then progress to a dds pure and so on.

 

Any pure will dominate if you remember the motto: "Risk it for a biscuit!"

 

I remember ranged tanks used to be so legit back in the day, I'd always want to have one.
