Head start to 2007scape

Hey guys! When the 2007 servers come out, I plan on starting like a bat out of hell and leveling really quickly. I want people to wonder "How the fuck did he do that so fast?!"

I'm trying to plan out my plan of attack.

I know doing quests right off the bat such as witch's potion (getting 10 magic fast), vampire slayer (20 attack), Fight Arena (30 attack), and waterfall quest which will get me to about 38 attack and 30 strength. I'll also probably do a lot of slayer and try to be one of the first to 85.

Anyone else planning on doing something similar? Or even if you're not, does anyone want to give me some tips or advice or tell me any other fast training methods? What other quests would be beneficial?

 

Tbh i would of done something like this if i was theoretically 16 again, rush at the start to be among the first to achieve things and have people look up to you like dafuq?

But i simply have very little time nowadays to play games, so its a no from me, ill be playing to simply enjoy and relive the days of 2007, i cant see myself having the time to shoot ahead of everybody else etc.

 

There's no point trying to do that. Zezima is the master of old style rs grinding and he will out grind you, he will achieve all 99s in a couple of months if he decides to come back.

 

I wish I was a teenager again with time for this. I will probably just log on for an hour every weekend to enjoy the old wilderness with a quick pure.

 

I'm beginning my srs-mode planning for 2007scape.
I'll most likely be using an AFK fishing account and a main account which I'll first be training Hunter on.
The plan is as follows (condensed a little):

Sheep Shearer:
Complete Sheep Shearer @ lvl3
Reward: 150 crafting xp + 2k gp
Spin 382 balls of wool to reach 10 crafting
Pick up bucket whilst in Lumbridge Castle (from the cellar)

Buy hatchets from Bob in Lumbridge:
Iron = 56gp
Steel = 200gp

Start Rune Mysteries

Run to Varrock:
Cut normal logs until 15 Woodcutting. (West Varrock Bank)
Bank 61 logs for 15 Firemaking, powerlevel the rest.
Cut oaks in Varrock until 36 Woodcutting. (Bank them all, level Firemaking later)

Complete Rune Mysteries:
Mine 50 Rune Essence for 'Priest in Peril'

Complete Security Stronghold:
10k GP reward
Total of 11,744 GP
Buy Air Staff in Varrock
Buy Air/Fire/Mind Runes to range Cerberus, Monk of Zamorak and Dramen Tree Spirit


Run to Varrock Palace
Start 'Priest in Peril'
50 Rune Essence required
Bucket required
Range/Mage to kill lvl48 guard dog and lvl34 Monk of Zamorak

Run to Seers:
Pick 912 flax
Spin 912 bowstrings
Reach 31 Crafting (Lost City req. complete)

1-19 @ Crimson Swifts
19-29 @ Tropical Wagtails
29-43 @ Swamp Lizards
43-57 @ Spotted Kebbits
57-60 @ Dark Kebbits

A suggestion for skilling: Talk to a friend while skilling so that you don't get bored. Either do that or listen to some good music

 

Or just wait till bots are released and run then when you're AFK lol.

 

Supposedly there are some bots that will work, but I reckon that simba's just trying to get attention again, they don't know what colours there are. I'd personally grind combat and get some whips while they will still be good cash.

 

Maybe if I was a teenager i'd grind the game a way and make my way on top but as of yet, im just going to casually play. being 21 I still love MMO's but I simply can't grind skills anymore due to my mindset and real life issues
