The 2007 Server Poll is up!

Just letting everyone know. Head over and vote! (You need to be a member) I'm interested in seeing how much support this can get. Oh how amazing it would be to reach 750k votes!

Btw its not even hour when poll started and already 4k+ votes

 

Let's hope we can reach a high number, this server needs to be released and we need the botwatch and dedicated development team.

5/750k. I still feel as if 750k is incredibly unreasonable given the amount of active members. Doesn't look like Jagex will budge though.

I'm sure it hasn't been up for 12 hours.

There are almost 2 million accounts with memberships (Who knows how many are trial accounts though?), plus some people will be resubscribing just to vote.

There are enough people, it's just getting them to vote. We don't need all 750k to get a 2007 server, it's just be the preferred number.

I'll just be happy when we reach 50K votes. I'm VERY skeptical about reaching 750K votes in only 2 weeks.

 

I don't think we'd hit 750k if given 3 months. 50k votes still isn't amazing, 2007scape is fun and all but $25 a month? It's not worth that much.

 

About time they did this, took them waaaaayyyy too long. Only after a closure of RS2006 they understood that this needed to be done.

They need to be kept in check a little too. If the server gets released with NO anti-bot protection, it's doomed from the beginning.

Even if the protection doesn't work that well, just knowing there's a chance of being banned deters some people from botting.

Nope, everyone will start fresh on the 2007 servers. I feel as if it's the best way, as many people will have their stats trained via psot-2007 methods.

 

The votes are rolling in. From the time I cast my vote and refreshed twice it rose another 1,000 votes. That's under 30 seconds.

 

Great to hear! I calculated earlier that there were 1000 votes being sent in every 5 minutes and it seems to be around that still to this minute.

The count is currently at 13k.

 

50k votes should be easy to reach but will the 15$ be a one time payment or monthly?

 

From what I understand it's an additional $15 a month. It's a crazy amount to pay on top of the initial $10 for servers with no support or anti-bot measures.
