    I have no idea?!

Been away from the legit scene for quite some time now. Just been botting skills, and now i am completely out of the loop with the EoC update regarding training combat.

    ^ Skills as shown.
I want to train melee. What is the best way to do so? What equipment, whereabouts, what abilities, etc.?

    Thanks in advance.

You can train on literally anything. I suggest slayer, it's a very good way to learn the EOC and get major melee exp. As for abilities, you'll want 5-6 "basic" abilities (build adrenaline), these should come from the attack/strength ability book, 2 "threshold" attacks from either att/str ability books and then 1-2 ultimates.
Gear, just wear the same as before eoc. Void works well.

Soulsplit is always a viable option, it works very well. If you go the constitution ability book, there are 2 abilities that can heal you. One is an ultimate, the other I believe is a threshold, but can only be activated out of combat.

Mainly, if you bring pots/some food and maybe a familiar, youll be more than fine

Pots/food with a yip should work just fine:) Not an extreme need for soulsplit, if you want to get it, it's worth it in the long run.

    You're welcome!

I'll see how i go, i have money that i really just don't use so i may as well invest in prayer.

can you recommend a general melee setup though? i don't even know what weapon to use!

    I have no idea?!

    Bandos/torva,fury,barrows gloves, dragon/steadfire boots, neit/torva helm, skillcape/firecape/tokhaar-kal for armour.

Weapon.. Chaotics are still good as long as you know weaknesses against monsters (for example, fire giants are weak to slash, CLS) Or if you have a ton of money, Drygore weapons are unbelievable. Godswords are still really good 2 handers, but you'll have to setup a new action bar for 2 handed abilities.

    I have no idea?!

Do you know if that thing still applies that if you fight a monster 50 combat levels under your own you only obtain 10% of the xp?

    I have no idea?!

I suggest hunting for Bosses to train your combat skill wherein you will be making tons of money from their rare drops at the same time. Anyway, you can always train on those old popular training location and monsters but you have to be aware that some of these monsters' levels has been increased.

    I have no idea?!

I will also suggest doing slayer, specially now with a slayer tower update and slayer bounty (i think that's how they were calling it) it should make things a bit more interesting :D
And as for bosses : Gwd/and now Kalphite King

Basing from your stats that you have posted above, you can do QBD for both XP and Money. Otherwise, you might want to try KBD for combat XP.

Train slayer. It's the best method IMO. You're effectively killing 2 birds with one stone.
