EoC : Can't or Won't

Discussion about your views on the EoC. From what I've gathered most people aren't even willing to give the eoc a chance, not the fact that they've actually properly tried it and attempted to get used to it.

What are your views?

 

Meh, I had already quit last May and came back as I always do to do the Xmas event. I gave it a go and for me, it has made the game completely unplayable, it's so different now that I can't even stand to think about it let alone start playing again.

 

I can back after a break and the eoc came out it took me abit to adjust but I know I won't be having anymore rs breaks big improvement

 

I hate it.

 

I enjoy it, just as much as i used to, if not more. It now has a feel that your actually contributing to the combat, unlike when you were just clicking.

 

I've adjusted to it and use it still, i've gained well over 20M exp using the EOC system, but I still prefer the old system better. When using the EOC for bossing, it makes it much harder since you have to click attacks and food, and prayer, and if they have an AOE attack, you have to move around.. It's just annoying. Things that are easy like Barrows - I used to love going there and doing the minigame and talking to friends at the same time. Hard to talk to friends while facerolling the keyboard to kill Ahrim.

If the pre-eoc servers don't come out, I won't stop playing, I never have. But if they did, I would definitely play them. A little nostalgia now and then is a good thing. And I severely miss how the old game was.

 

Same with me ^^^. I've adjusted to it, but miss the old way where it was easy to "afk" and multitask instead of having to constantly select abilities or Momentum.

 

I gave up combat because of it.

 

I like it but still needs tweaking when it comes to pures imo

 

I quit cause of it, It's just sooo boring i could die, haha.

I gave it a chance... but it made me just so bored.

Eoc is crap.

 

I'm trying to get used to it. It has some serious combat changes that do not interest me so now I mainly skill.

 

I tried it for like 10mins but didn't like it. I quite 1 year before EoC though and only went on rs to check whats new.

 

Well I was only interested in RS Pking....so yeah there goes that.

 

i actually find it very fun, and a switch up from the old rs good change although i do miss the old combat system :/

I've never been much of a combat person. But I'm starting to do combat more and I have no problem with it.

 

I hate it, tried it for like a minute .. not even prepared to give it half a chance more .. sounds ignorant, but I loved the game for what it was. If this isn't fixed soon, I will be gone for good.

 

So the majority of sythe aren't fans of EoC because they've not given it a proper chance, no wonder all EoC threads are filled with negative responses.

 

Tried it, it's alright though I never really got used to it. By the time EOC came out I had already quit runescape for about a month and EOC failed to respark any love for the game.
