I personally think Jagex finally when it's near to death starts listening to community and I'll be able to finish my pure!

 

He didn't confirm the servers. He just said he see's us talking about it.

 

Means he isnt neutral about this anymore, RS loses players day by day, and I think he finally noticed this problem

 

Oh I think they noticed the problem a while ago lol. When there was only like 25k players online instead of 140k. They just now began to give a shit.

 

You'd probably have to start a new account. The game would have realms. It would divide the community more than bring it together. An already small community being divided... great.

Its a WoW term, he means a new server running separately from the current runescape.

 

Well it wouldn't technically be seperated. Im sure you could still talk with friends in the eoc/pre-eoc depending on which game you play. The only thing truely seperating them is trade items and you couldn't do events with each other.

 

The fact, that jagex is actually mentioning these kinds of things means that they probably are going to bring it back into the game....this is HUGE for jagex to be doing as they really don't do much with player feedback they just do what they think is best and never look back on it, and jagex is FINALLY doing this..

I might get back into RS and make a good pure to pk on, or an obby tank

I also think they mentioned 2006 for a reason, i doubt they would of specified 2006 unless they had plans to bring it back.

 

If they do bring it back then it should also serve a huge blow to all 317 RSPS; the 2006 era. But if you ask me, I believe they're making the statement for the same reason they've been making all the past "hopeful" statements; to make you think something better is coming, to calm down the unhappy crowd and give them hope.

By the way, "Fat mark"? That's really low to make attacks towards him based on appearance, man. Even for Sythe standards, that's a really cheap shot. Grow up.

 

They mentioned 2006 because that's what everybody wants. They just closed down 2006scape, and everyone who even brings up "past runescape" is always referring to 2006, if not directly said. If they said "past runescape" and said 2008, people would say "wtf it was shit then too!".

I am truly shocked that they actually wrote this thread and mentioned "2006" Runescape in there.

HELL YES! Of course it won't be the same as we remember but we can only hope it's an improvement on the current state of things. I personally hope they revive pking, remove the GE, implement bot-watch everywhere and restart everybody; so there isn't gross amounts of items and money in the game.
