The sythe community should boycott RS

Might not make a great difference but less people playing RS post EoC will mean more stress on fagex to do something about EoC, even if we don't get old RS back, runescape dies and jagex stops making money of it.

its a win-win situation.

 

This would be pointless, Jagex don't care about 200 users not playing. They know they will always come back, Jagex need to evolve as a company. They can't keep running old versions of RuneScape for ever otherwise they won't attract new players.

 

You did a stellar job at quitting Sythe.

Jagex wouldn't care about a few hundred kids not playing RuneScape, also I'm quite sure most of the people who are on this site and actually play RuneScape actively, even if they decided to boycott, once they realised nothing is happening, because noone cared about them, they would become butthurt but return to RuneScape nonetheless.

I don't understand by the way, why it's so hard to accept EoC. Life goes on, it's a game anyways, for christ sake. Are you going to boycott every change within your life that you do not agree with? Old RS is done good, it's gone, it's over. Get used to the new one, or quit.

I still enjoy runescape and before I get raged at saying I mustn't of been playing long... Been playing since 2003

 

People won't start quitting runescape just because of this post and most of sythe only bot and they wouldn't quit that as that bring in some money.

 

Only about 200 people here play run escape and I'm pretty sure not very many people would even quit. So jagex wouldn't really give a shit if couple dozen people quit, if it was a couple thousand they still probably wouldn't care.

if we boycott rs it would fix the botting problem and make jagex happy it wont fix the problems or what u call problems here and now dont buy membership if ur wanting to do any form of boycott, costing jagex money to run ur character while not contributing any.

 

Jagex won't give two shits if we boycott them. The members on Sythe aren't substantial enough to alter the opinion of Jagex. Also you'll have a bit of people who refuse to boycott Jagex (who are Sythe members) as they use it as a form of income.

 

I love how random dudes, who are probs around 16-18, posts about companies like if they knew something.

You cant say "Jagex needs to evolve as a company" when they are making more than 3 million US$ per year or even more. They might've implemented some updates that made a few players quit the game, however new players will also be joining so no damage is done to the company

 

There literally would be no point in boycotting RS. It would not impact them enough.

 

honestly, they would probably be more happy that we cease to play because most of us our involved in the black market trade which is against their rules, so I mean it would be a win in their situation, + us quitting would not shut down rs
