"special lure"??

i was told there is a lure that you can do that does not involve pking, or any kind of damage being dealt, and no trade screen. My guess get them to drop their stuff then, get them to log out, tele, or stop them from getting back to pick up the item somehow. I can't quite figure it out, anyone know of this, or one that might be similar?? anyone think they can figure it out? pm if ud rather do that.

ps. its not the damenhiem lure either but if u got one thatll work lemme know.

 

Get them into your house, drop itrms, kick them from house, profit.

This one was tried by someone yesterday on me. They were in W2 and I was trying to buy a rare. The person asked if I wanted one for free, and showed me a few rares. They told me to follow. Obviously I banked everything and followed. She got a few more people and they all followed as well. So we went upstairs in the west bank and they were like "blah blah i'm quiting blah blah, I'll only give you an item if you trust me, blah blah, trade me a cheap item to build trust." Basically it was bidding. Then once the person got like 5m they just logged out.

I pm'd the person later and they told me that's how they got the rares they had. It was quick and pretty easy to spot but it worked...

 

I know a lure like this. Almost lost my Santa to it twice.

there are a lot of wanna be lurers that day... 30 minutes ago it also happened to me at w2^^ one guy asked me if i want to get rich lawl... didn't believed it, but i acted like the stupid one and followed him, he then wanted that i show him 7 items (had bandos and a few other items), then he said that he will give me 14 items back, cause this would activate a special bug jagex activated with eoc, then i declined and laughed so bad at him after that he raged at me calles me a faggot "come follow me i show u my 15b bank faggot"

 

I believe this still works:
I know a lure, but it involes good social engineering skills and a dumb person who you can scam: (It involves a risk of you losing ~100-200k):

- Tell a person (preferrably a friend, or someone who has a basic amount of trust in you), that you found a method to dupe, but you are poor.
- Invite them to your POH and tell them to bring the most expensive item they have (a rare, whatsoever).
- You will need a table for this, and tell them the following; Here, I give you a whip, put in the table; After this comes your creativity; You can say, either do an emote, log out and log back in, switch worlds, because this bug will lead to their item being duplicated. The point is to make your victim do something that takes away their attention from the table.
- Whilst they do whatever you tell them is the bug, you yourself place a whip on the table; It will appear within one minute and you tell them: you see, it works!
- You now tell them to place the item (the expensive one) on the table; You kick them from the house. Boom profit.

Please note, you will need very good social engineering skills and yeah, a dumb person. First thing that came to my mind.

Not if they've turned off all warning messages. Persuade them to turn them off so when they enter wild they don't have to click the message every time. If you have good skills at persuasion, luring is easy. Unfortunately for me, I suck at it.
