QBD tips

hey i have been trying to get to the final phase of the QBD inorder to forge my royal crossbow
Stats: Mage: 78 Def: 42 (using Void) 76 const
gear master wand void anti fire shield

inventory: 6 brew flask 4 super restores 200 purple sweets( saving them for if i get really close) rest monkfish

I have been making it to phase 3 but then i seem to just get overwhlemed with the tortured souls and grotworms the queen herself doesnt seem to effect me

P.s i dont have any super antifires which would help sooo much

ty dave and soooo bummed just got to the finall wave and tried to brandish the crossbow and died during her flame noooo

 

Update: after about 40 attempts i have made it to the phase in which i need to get to i just havent gotten lucky yet

 

Is mage the only style you can use?
seeing as you're trying to forge the cbow, my guess is you are high enough ranged to use it.
Having slayed over 700 QBDs i can tell you range is the way to go.
Melee is however my personal favorite, any 2h weapon such as godwords or a chaotic maul will wreck the QBD, making for kills in less than 4mins.
If mage is your only option, i suggest you swap void for something that provides a better LP and armour bonus if available to your level.
Spamming abilities on your keyboard from basic to threshold has made it a faster and easier task too, so take advantage of the abilities
I also suggest you switch brews for monks, as the give you faster healing when the QBD uses her extremlly hot flames which may 1-hit KO you.
