Logged onto Runescape today

Feels like Im forcing myself to play this game, completely stripped of any core value and previous work done by godly devs back in the day. it's as though this game is being completely milked what it's worth, kinda pathetic considering I grew up with this game since 2000.

 

Yeah, I think they're trying to attract a larger audience by implementing things like the EoC. Looks like it's not really working out at the moment, as more people are quitting than joining.

 

I know what you mean, when I used to leave the game for like 6 months, I'd come back to it and immediately enjoy it, but now, I have no clue what to do...

 

Don't force yourself then? And yes, the game is utter rubbish, and the majority of old players prefer it pre 2006ish.

I stopped like 5 days ago and I had the same problem, it was almost an obligation to me.

I gave the account away, never felt so good lol.

I sound like a drug addict but it's kind of...

 

Runescape is changed, their is no denying that. I've found that if I stop enjoying it, taking a long break does me well.

 

I've stopped playing a while back as well, I just bot now here and then and hopefully try to make GP that I can one day sell on this site!

 

Well tbh I havent stopped playing yet i kept all my nex gear and sold everything else, so now i nex for about an hour a day just to make a bit of gp and sell it and bot mining thats about it. Its a good source of GP per day to sell, but i know with school and all im going to end up selling the account, runescape is just not the same anymore, its to busy trying to keep up with the other games when it was just fine like it was in 2006.
