"Famous" People including myself banned

Today, (yes today) I found out that Mod Jacmob went on a high lvl ban spree. Apparently, all someone had to do was give him a name and that player would be instantly looked up and banned. I dont know if you guys know anyone on the list (a majority/if not all of them are completely maxed), but I am/was "Make". It's total bullshit if you ask me. I also had 400m give or take on my account. Yes I botted, but never on my main account which was MAXED in all skills. Both of my accounts were banned.

Also in my appeal, I went to the part where it says "View Evidence" and there was no evidence--thats the funny part. Whatever, I'm done with this retarded game. Thank god I didnt buy that year-long membership I've been thinking of buying. I think Fairy Yui only got a temp ban because he/she apparently has like 80b and him/her being banned would fuck up the economy even more.

Advice: If you're high total level and botting right now, I suggest you stop running the bot at least for a few days to be safe. THEY ARE CRACKING DOWN ON PLAYERS AGAIN.

What type of bot were you using, what skill were you training, and have you had previous macro offenses lately?

I've been botting several characters for several months now without warning, so I'm curious as to how people are supposedly getting banned now.

 

I botted for like a week or so on some random noob after because I was pissed at Jagex after they banned me from HLF (High level forums) for naming and shaming. I botted mining and used some LRC script I saw on Powerbot. This was about a month ago. Ive had no prior macro offenses.

 

Im botting right now, still not banned.

 

Is there a list out on who was banned?

 

There's a player-made list of the maxed players that were banned on the HLF. I'll go find it and post it.

It's pretty disgusting that fairy only got a temp ban, considering he (come on, we all know it can't be a girl) actually botted on his own account.

 

Wow, I'm sorry to hear you got banned. I hope that you are able to appeal it eventually due to a lack of evidence or something along those lines. Especially after Jagex offered an amnesty to thousands of players in the past, and were also supposed to roll out this new "3 strikes" system with Botany Bay, I do not think it is fair you were banned instantly and without any sort of warning - not to mention the fact you never even botted on your main account in the first place.

This is not the first time I've heard of Jacmob doing this either. He has caused quite a stir amongst certain circles and is receiving a lot of hatred from people who think what he is doing is shady. I still think Jacmob is a scumbag after the whole RSBuddy fiasco.

 

Appealing never works, takes them 4 months to reply with some bs..

When it comes to high lvl accounts, they WILL check because that person has more to lose when banned, where as looking up manually say an ad bot is a total waste cause they will be instantly remade when banned.

Nobody to blame but yourself, regardless of legitimately playing your main account which I highly doubt was accounted for, that same IP is traced towards other accounts breaking rules in return multiple offences will result in all your accounts being terminated.

I was talking to him on Skype a couple hours after I found out I was banned. Apparently, he botted only 1 day, which was on the double fishing day because he was pissed off at all the other bots that were there. Gf 1.9b total xp. Also, someone named Lp sniped his name, so theres a new Loyal in the game rofl.

This is really only a PR stunt since loads of people have been moaning on the forums about bots, the difference is that its about normally gold farming bots. Tbh the maxed players are probably one of Jagex's biggest customers too since it's unlikely they're going to quit any time soon.

Wouldn't be surprised if some get unbanned.
