Lost Passoword and Username!?!?

Hi Sythe,

Yes I know i'm a stupid ass for getting myself into this situation but if you
can help then, great!

I'm trying to recover an account that I have forgotten both the Password AND Username to. All I have is this Billing Information that was sent to me after I bought member on it. All I have is the Reference # E.t.c, and the Display Name. . .

When I try to recover my account, Jagex asks me to enter the Email which I thought was linked with that display name but I don't. I cant even access the Email I created with the account because I lost that password to that as well and cant Recover that either.

BASICALLY, I want to retrieve an account with nothing but a Bill and a display name. Will it work? If so, how do I go about doing it?

P.S No-one else has played this account, possibly one or two IP'S, One ISP, And I might even be able to answer recoveries if they were set.

E-mail JaGeX with the information you have, and they may be able to hint towards what the username is, just not the full name. For example: ***a**hit, or something. I've seen them do the same for forgotten e-mails. When you have the name simply file a manual recovery.

 

They give clues as generous as that? I thought they just told you the first, last and how many letters were in it..

Edit: Okay, I have just made a post on the forums, In case that fails, would an E-mail to Jagex have any higher chance of succeeding?
If you think its worth a shot, especially due to the fact of them giving away that username/Email hint,what is the appropriate Jagex e-mail(s)
to contact? I have been looking around and can only find their
billing Email. Is there a passoword recovery "team" that takes emails?

 

inb4 OP bought membership for a guy and is trying to hack his account and you all helped him.

 

Wow, sorry people can use community to achieve results like that. What can I say? Just trying to retrieve my old account dude. It sucks that you have to judge me as being scammer :/ using Sythe forums for help. , If that's what you're trying to do????

 

I'm pretty sure I've seen something like it for an e-mail. I could be wrong.

[email protected] is the account recovery e-mail address but you'll get a faster response from [email protected]

If all he has is details of one membership, he's not gonna get it back.

I am now trying to view that thread on the Runescape Forums, it says the link is not found. If anyone else is able to find that thread that the guide is based off, please let me know.
I have also sent 2 emails, which I have been waiting about 6 days for. 6 for the 1st, 3 for the second. I sent one to [email protected] and [email protected]
Jagex is just not responding to me and the thread that I posted my account retreival details is not working either ( possibly closed thread ).

I recently took my acount back that I forgot the JAG questions to that they say you can not recover, but you can. Just email them with everything you know and they will help you out.

 

They are not responding to my Email's if you read my last response. . .

 

It took 2 days to respond to my first email. Then an hour for each response in a conversation. Just be patiant.

 

Okay! After about 1 MONTH!!!!! JAGEX RESPONDED

Anyway, it was my own stupidity, I thought the Email was a "hotmail" account when instead, it was something else.

It'd be pretty tough recovering, I suggest using the RS official forums and submitting your problem there.
