I'm thinking about buying an account. The owner says hed give me the email/rec/previous pass/jag/ etc if we were to trade...Could the account still be recovered even if I have EVERYTHING?

 

Yes. The account can ALWAYS be recovered by original owner.

 

Unfortunately, the original owner has the high chance to recover the account back because of IP address. You'll have the same possibility to recover an account as the original owner as only if the owner give you an IP address but the most or all the trades doesn't give out the IP address because it's extremely too personal but if someone recovered the account back and you always still can report the scammer section around here only if the seller is selling here.

 

Basically, if you don't trust them 100% don't buy it.
I've personally had an account recovered from me after 13 days of using it.
The only way I'd buy an account here if it were from a highly respected user.

As the owner will always have the original IP, which is the most important part for recovering accounts.

As with what people have said above the account is always recoverable by the original owner and don't bother with using a MM as they are useless. It's always up to the owner of the account and if you trust them sufficiently to not recover the account.

If I were you I'd only really purchase from mods or ex mods or people with like 300+ vouches, but even then I'd be really cautious.

The best way to go would just be to make an account yourself and have it botted up to the stats you want.

 

this is old question. there is no 100% secure account. even you got full details and correct, you may still unable to recover it back... that's because your ip address doesn't match with original creation ip address.

Throughout the history of RS account sales, their has been no 100% way to make sure that the account is in your control. The original CAN recover the account 99.9% of the time.

 

The safest method is to pay skillers/questers, but it may cost slightly more!
