I just got my ass handed to me.

First time out in the wild since EoC came out and I absolutely suck. I really need to figure out why people with the worst stats in the world (60's and 70's) are killing me so easy. I'm basically a maxed turmoil rune pure at lvl 151...

I don't understand how the combat circle is distributed anymore and I seem to blow ass now. I know I could just watch some youtube videos on EoC, but I'm really not in the mood to look it up at the moment.

Would someone care to enlighten me on my suckiness and explain this bull crap to me?...

 

I'm having the same issues. It's rough for us that have played one way for so long. I regularly get destroyed by people below my level.

 

You really just need to get in touch with the abilities and using them in combinations. For example, there is an ability that deals damage and some bonus damage if the target is stunned. There are also a few abilities that stun the opponent. If you stun him and use the ability that deals bonus damage, you will get a leg up on your opponent. You really just need to spend some time practicing with the ability bar.

Also, the combat circle remains the same. Warriors beat mages, mages beat rangers and rangers beat warriors.

 

its all about how you use your combinations, you should take the time to watch a video on the adrenaline bar

 

If you really want to learn then you should check out some videos on youtube and just keep at it, but I do sympathize with you .. the whole thing is fucked.

 

As long as you can get used to the abilities combo's, and work out which ones work together, than you'll be alright. It's mainly about having a combination of stats at your highest level, so 40 att/99str/30 defence is the same combat as 99att/99str/30defence. It's all about balance.

 

I would just say get used to using the abilities. They can pay off if you use them right.

 

Well it seems anymore, that melee armor has gotten ALOT weaker to magic attacks, magic armor weaker to range attacks and ranger armor to melee attacks. It could just be me, but make sure your using the correct armor/style to beat the other persons armor/style. Also mash abilities. Combo and use ur abilities as often as humanly possible. It only took me an hour to figure this out

 

many people built adrenaline on npc's then have an ultimate ready in the beginning of a fight.

 

Seems like the wildy has changed from who has the better pure stats to who can hit a button faster. I've never been much of a pker but that doesn't sound too fun to me.

 

I can't offer much advice on ability combos if I don't know how you're trying to pk. Dual wielding or 2h? if you're using a shield rejuvination is helpful
