...get 99 attack, strength and defence so I can box stake?

92-94-94 currently, and I've heard staking makes bank obviously and with box staking I'm assuming it's a lot about luck since stats are mainly equal and it is a lot about who gets the first hit... (will definitely PiD)

I'm on like 80m or so, and I fancy going for something like 200m by staking, what are my chances?

 

Go for it, just limit yourself and don't get cleaned.

I'd suggest maxing or 99-95-99 for your own reasons.

 

Its possible to make the quickest cash in all of runescape at dual arena, but bare in mind you can lose it just as quick

I would suggest maxing out, attack, defence, str, hp before boxing. If you want no spec fights, get a rapier , if you want to mage box.. make sure you have the appropriate runes in your invo (iv lost millions due to forgetting)

bet like 1m, 2m if you lose, 4m if you lose again, 8m if you lose again... etc

cuz its 50/50 everytime if your maxed

but the probability of losing 2 times in a row is (.5)(.5) = .25
and the probability of winning 2 times in a row is (.5)(.5) = .25

So you eventually will hit it big and cover your losses

 

About the same chances you have with dicing XD imo but i reckon you should max them all out

 

That's what I plan on doing, say bank all my money and withdraw 30m, then if I end up with over 100m then great, if not then it's my own fault for losing it haha

Got a rapier already, should do the trick if I no spec fight. Only thing is attack styles and with mage boxing I wouldn't know when to use each spell

Yeah, I can imagine being 50m up would be fun... 50m down, not so much

Interesting maths, obviously each independent fight is 50/50 but probability does come into play. Let's hope I lose about 6 fights and then hit big

When mage boxing smoke barrage first, then just auto-cast blood barrage an chuck in a blood blitz every now and then (more accurate but hit less), Mage boxing is fun and i prefer it to normal melee boxing as anything can happen.
