whats the difference between Macroing Minor Vs Major?

what's the difference? i just got a 14 day temp ban for macroing minor on my zerker pure from botting druids with rsbuddy.

 

Major is a more severe offense and is a longer punishment.
I just got my first one as well.

 

Usually minor is given to p2p so they can keep feeding jagex money and f2p usually gets banned off the bat.

But it also refers to what type of botting you are doing. Perm bans are more often for accounts that are botting for the soul purpose of gold farming, where as you are botting combat to actually help you play rs

 

Basically what kabal said sums it up. They like to give p2p people temp bans because they do not want to lose any money at all. They will take any chance they can to milk every last cent out of you, even allowing cheating like botting, which is currently ruining everything about runescape.

Another thing other than what kabal mentioned about the type of botting you are doing causing a Minor and a major ban is that a minor is almost always 14 days, and major is almost always permanent. With the minor it is pretty common for an account to get rolled back after the fact too, at least that has been what people are reporting.

 

This what said is 100% true. Its sad to see the game depreciate this much but this is the truth. even with a low Macro offense on my account I took a break and started again and haven't been banned since. I have heard though if your try to appeal a short ban you will be Perm Banned? Those short bans usually end up in role back which my account received.

I just got banned too.. must have banned a lot of accounts at once!

 

probably not.. 1/4 of my bots got banned last night.. it was only a 14 day ban too.
