An interesting/unconventional character to start with? Any ideas?

I'm looking to start with another interesting character. I'm currently leveling a maxed melee + magic staker and a vengeance void handcannon pure.

I like the idea of a character that's a bit out of the ordinary (like the handcannon acc that I'm working on), but efficient nonetheless. Something good for pking/staking would be nice. Do not offer anything that requires dungeoneering. I hate the skill and am not planning on leveling it any time soon on any of my characters.

Also, I'm planning on making it a member the second I've made the char, so all suggestions are welcome.

 

Corrupt pure?

 

Everything's been done before but you could try a zerker.

 

While it's true everything's been done before, zerkers are way too common. I looked up summoning tanks and it seemed pretty interesting. What do you guys think? Would it be worth it?

Simple, yet brilliant.

Range & mage can be used as well (you MAY be able to veng w/o attack exp, not sure though)

 

These stats definitely seem out of the ordinary. How would it be effective with an attack level of only 1 :O? Sorry, I just started playing again like a month ago after coming back from a 4 year break, I dont really get some of the new game-mechanics yet.

nd idk.. best suggestion id give is make a maxed staker.

 

A progress thread could be done, it's always motivating to see people cheer for your goals .

Already making a maxed staker and a vengeance hand cannon void pure. The staker's currently 80+ att and def and 90+ str, so there's a long way to go.

Anyways, what I want to know is - what would the community be interested to see being developed? I've always gone for unconventional methods that aren't widely practiced in any game i've played, it's a lot less boring to play a char that you'll know will end up being a beast, yet not many other people have one just like it .

 

The account that blade mentioned will do damage if it has an obby maul and berserker necklace. It will probably hit 30s and 40s but will be difficult to make

 

Still haven't decided. Anyone else got any good ideas? Paid for the membership and am currently doing soul wars on it until I figure out what I need it for.

 

I've always wanted to see an account with 99 atk, str, def, mage, prayer and range with 10hp.

I've seen accounts with 99 str atk and range with 10hp but not all 6 together.

It would be lvl 103 with 10hp.

 

Make a level 3 pure.. u will never lose i assure you! jk.. Make a 99 def/summon character there so fun.. unless ur fighting a mage then u tele..

 

Not sure if you're good at maging but you could make a mage tank.

Just tank the shit out of people, however ,you won't be much of a edge pker, mostly mb and the area around there.

Otherwise, go for the obby tank, but I would get range as well.

So,

1 att
99 str
70-75 def
85+ range
31/52/95 prayer (not sure if you can get turmoil with 1 attack)
1+ mage
85+ hp

85 combat with 1 att, 99 str, 75 def, 85 range, 31 pray, 1 mage, 85 hp.
I would recommend the 75 def if you can afford the DFS for the spec. If not, get 70.

You might be better off getting 20 attack for a corrupt tank since 85 combat will be at about maxed pures and starting to get zerkers. You'll have trouble hitting against other people with def since your attack level is 1. However, you can get up to 30 attack without leveling.

I'd wear torag legs, dhide body, climbing boots, rfd gloves/vambs/combat brace, zerk necklace, torag helm/zerker helm, rune knifes/msb/rune c bow, ava accum/obby cape.

Just range them until they have like 1/3-1/2 hp then switch to obby maul for the KO. Repeat until they're dead.

You might have trouble finding someone that will fight you but your risk should bait them.

 

Guess I'm going for the obby mauler. Any idea how to level a character like this guys? What items should I use for training? Where to train?

I'm also kind of skeptical about the 1 attack.. How the hell am I supposed to fight other lv 80+'s (of which some might actually have 99 def <_<) with 1 attack?

Soul wars.

 

Your best bet of training this with 1 attack would be with SW. Bandage people or train range.

Obby tanks are only successful at lower levels, usually 60 def or less.

Obby pures are amazing, you can be 55-60 with 99 str and still have a decent hp level.

But, to be successful as a tank, you're going to want to keep def and or hp low.

Summoning tank man!!

Get like 75 defence and some quality summoning level

You can wear high defence gear, torag's or whatever, as well as having a dragon fire shield! Then just use an iron dagger (p++) and poison your opponent whilst your familiar destroys!
I'd say ideally 95 summoning but obviously that's far fetched so around 79 would be good!
With 75 defence, 65 hp and 79 summoning you'd be 45 combat... Find someone who can hit on 75 defence at 45 combat, I dare you
