Best way to train ranged in f2p?

I need a quick and effective place to train ranged in f2p. I'm just trying to go from 72-80. I have AutoFighter Pro, which I plan to use.

Also what arrows/bows to use, as I'm kind of on a budget.

 

Best F2p short bow obviously, either bronze/iron/steel arrows, and I did a lot of F2p range training at Moss Giants. I wouldn't recommend Lessers as they have high def.

To lower cost just set AFP to loot your arrows I guess.

 

What about minotaurs? They drop iron arrows and don't give that bad of exp, would they be good or no>

 

Yes, it'd be somewhat slow xp.. But its also profitable with all the iron arrows.


Just make sure to set it to "wait for loot" so It kills the monster, then loots the arrows after..

Otherwise your Xp/h is shit.. because your bot is constantly picking up your 1-2 arrows >.> I would know I forgot to do this once.. LOL.

 

Depends reatly on your defence lv.?

 

Defense is 70

 

Sling some flesh crawlers you can probably get around 20k/hr
But please...use a bot

You can always try the Sewer skeletons under varrock, I botted my pure there and got around 16k/h. Fleshies would always be packed, so if you want to go ahead, but underground skeletons are always a good choice

 

If you can even get kills. F2P is so full of everyone else's bots you don't even get a full kill.

 

Best bow, iron arrows.

Minotaurs in the stronghold. Set the bot to pick up iron arrows, you'll end up with more than you started with, and around 25k exp an hour.
