Dragon Slayer

Does anyone know how to beat dragon slayer in free to play I heard they took out the safe spots so you can't just range him now.
I'm making a rune pure so i wanted to be able to get the quest done fairly soon so i could start getting 40 defence from there and then wear rune to help me train but im not sure the recommened stats anymore since they took safe spots out.

 

You really need help beating Dragon Slayer, you have got to be kidding me.

 

I don't need help douche bag, just wanted to know the recommended stat's so i don't fuckin die 30 times trying to kill him, as i said i wanted to try beating him at one of the lowest levels possible to help training but i guess you can't fuckin read the whole post because it's to long for your pre-pubescent mind.

 

40-40-40 is fine I did it and didnt even come close to diein and that was when I just started playing back in '05

 

I'm keeping my defence at 1 until i beat it because it gives like 20,000 defence xp and i don't want to get past 40 defence after i beat it, i just want enough to wear rune plate. that's why i was asking since they took safe spots out how do you do it because i can't tank it with 1 defence..

 

Do you have prayer? If so you can probably beat it with 40-1-40, just give it a try.

All you need is a (if member) Ring of recoil a dragonfire shield and some sorta poison dagger.
If ftp just get at 40 att 40 str (defence shouldn't really matter) and a str pot and food. Should be fine. If you do need help pm me and id be happy to kill the dragon for you

 

You can get 33 DEF beforehand and after completing the quest you'll be at 40.

 

Hehe, I did at combat level 60 with everything combat related balanced out, killed Elvrag within 1 minute, although I still took a full inventory of lobster with me.

 

I beat it with 40-40-40 and 20 Lobbies and 8 Cabbages (I was poor). You'll be fine.
