Login Limit Exceeded

Login Limit Exceeded: too many connections from your address.

That's what I'm constantly getting now when I'm in the lobby, I get kicked off, type in my information and B00M this shows up.

It's been happening to my friend as well and he's 100% legit but instead he gets "Your account has not logged off".

This just started today for me, anyone else been getting it?

EDIT: Happens when I world hop as well, I need to wait a few minutes then it will wear off. Gets pretty damn annoying each time.

 

I get the too many connections thing all the time, but I have gotten it for a long time.

It sucks, Jagex sucks, but yeah.

 

They need to get their shit straight instead of making these dumb updates lol.

 

ya, but its not from the update. this started happening to me about a week to two weeks ago

 

I am getting a similiar problem. I do the exact same as you, but instead of login limit exceeded I get "You account is still logged in, try again in a few minutes" Even though no one is on my account.

 

I was getting the problem at least a month or two ago.

You guys are lucky to only be getting it now lol

 

Also I noticed I can't dual log in using a bot client and a normal window anymore, anyone else get this?

 

Happened to me too. Just refresh your page and log back in.

 

Yup been happening to me all day when i try to hop worlds. I click to play on another world and that thing comes up saying "You have just logged out please wait blah blah blah" then 2 seconds later it logs me out completely and when i try to log back in it says my account has not logged out from a previous session. Just wait about a minute and it lets me back on. Now in the middle hunting i get dc/ed and now even the runescape page wont load...

 

That still works fine for me.

 

I never had this problem.. But at times my screen just turns white during gameplay, so I have to refresh the page.

Should you receive this message then please wait 5 minutes before attempting to log back in.

Thank you for your reports, and I appreciate that it is frustrating for you but we are aware and this is something that will be resolved very shortly.

In the meantime I suggest you try and remain logged into one world and refrain from hopping around. You are more than welcome to switch worlds but it sounds like you will have to log in again if you wish too.

We appreciate your patience and we'll let you know once this has been resolved!

Bring back the old login system and get this Facebook crap out of here. This started happening to me ever since they changed it.

 

Yeah, last night I left opened up my bot and started running it. Woke up in the morning and all 3 accounts were logged off, and they all had the "Login limit Exceeded" message. Tried to log onto my pure and the "account hasn't logged out" message popped up.

I checked my bot logs and the bot ran for only 2 hours, and was logged off for the rest of the 8 hours -_-

Who in their right mind is going to use Facebook to log in? I'd never use my real Fb to log in lmao.

 

Wow, didn't know this was happening to everyone. It happened to me today when I was trying to find a world for frosts, and I was like wtf.
