Tip: DO NOT link your RS and Facebook accounts!

As most have you have seen, the new update allows you to link your RS and Facebook accounts. DO NOT DO THIS. My friends have easily found programs that allow access to anyones facebook account. They just use them to mess with their friends but this means that anyone who uses one of these programs could easily hack your facebook account. Just a friendly tip

 

i havnt clicked on the facebook button yet because i dont want anything runescape to show up on my wall lol

I don't understand why a company like jagex who continually tells us all to never share personal information would want us to link our facebooks to our accounts.

 

Same, I don't really want my friends to see I leveled my "Dung"

 

Because they profit from A. Advertising for FaceBook and B. Having their product advertised on FaceBook.

People are still going to link their accounts. I can't wait until a hacking of epic proportions happens and people wonder how it happened.

 

It is a pathetic move by Jagex. They will lose thousands of accounts and eventually customers. People that play runescape probably have no interest of having runescape related things on their walls and not to mention to high security risk.

 

Wouldn't JaGex be aware of this? That hacking would be easy

 

i wouldnt have done this anyway, after seeing how glitched it is hopping worlds id know theres more to it

This is really retarded because it makes hacking 1000% easier. Jagex are just asking for everyone's accounts to get hacked because if you know the person's Facebook, in most cases all you need is 3 friends to reset their facebook password.

 

Wouldn't do this anyway. I think it's retarded. I just don't see who on earth is so interested in runescape that they would do this or have any one of their real-life friends give a fuck they level cooking.

 

I'd say 85% of runescape players don't let others know they play runescape , if you one of the 15% that so , well , your a nerd XD

 

They don't care about the players. They care about the check they recieve from the amass of people linking their facebooks.

"My facebook got hacked and I lost all my runescape items because of it, help me jagex."

Jagex replies: "So?"

 

Only people who don't hide from their friends that they play RS are like, under 13, imo.
