Did they send everyone this message?

Just wondering if they sent everybody this message in some attempt to make people feel like jagex were reaching out to the players. Some new marketing technique to make players feel involved.



EDIT: Just read the forum thread, apparently they just sent them out randomly( or so it seems.)

 

Yep. Thought it was a little failed not to exclude people with the quest cape though.

When I login and see the messages I'm like:
Oh shit, which rule did I break this time?
OR
Oh shit, I'm finally being invited to be a P Mod!!!

Usually one or the other, the I find some dumb message -.-

 

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I saw the "1 unread" bit in the lobby. Was secretly hoping it was some kind of pmod selection day before I posted this on sythe :'( .

 

I never read them after i read a message which I break a rule and got muted for 1 day.

 

This is exactly what happens to me haha, its bullshit.. even if i dont play anymore it wouldnt hurt to become a P-Mod, might increase my RS account price if i do actually sell my main one day
