Does anyone else think it will rise again? I do. I haven't done much investing but from the chart it looks promising.

 

yeah but itll just drop. rs is so retarded now. i miss the old days when rune scimy was 30k, r2h was 50k, d long was 100k. everything was so simple and stable.

Slayer is becoming more popular and more whips are constantly entering the game.

Jagex needs to find a way to have items exit the economy...
right now its just a huge pot of items.. that never leave!

Look at most of the items on RS... Whips, godswords... jesus christ!

 

I know it's fucked up. I've been playing for years and always wanted a godsword when I was younger.

Now I can buy more then a full inventory of bgs, don't see the economy lasting long. I bought some rares and logged out, won't be logging in for months.

 

Maybe a new boss thats not in multi, hard to get to, no graves, auto skull...Im sure that would cause some items to disappear

 

Slayer is being mastered more and more, more whips are coming in as someone else said.

They will continue to slowly drop.

Look at AGS/BGS prices, they've dropped? Why, more drops at bandos/armadyls.

 

Another reason for them rising is because of the wilderness, in BH when you died with a whip, the majority of the time it didn't show up in the loot thus being removed from the game. Now wild is back whips are getting looted, i do suspect they'll rise a 100k or so soon though, only to drop again.

 

If you have ever taken a look at the abby demons in the Slayer Tower recently your question should be answered. Whips have slowly but surely dropped ever since the release of free trade. The circulation and demand of whips is not as high because people that have them usually pk and are likely to have multiple and there is a bigger supply from the gold farming bots. I doubt whips will stop dropping until there is a new weapon made to replace them.

now that in pvp items are dropped instead of disappearing the only real way to remove them from the economy has disappeared. the will continuously fall.

 

That's a big drop from when R2H was 300k and higher.

I don't see whip making a rebound simply because of the flow of them into the game as opposed to the outward flow. There are plenty of people gold farming abby's, and there are plenty more simply training slayer and getting abby tasks.

 

I think they will stay same price around 1M.

Jagex should have jmods go to ge, buy a lot of weapons that have been dropping, whips godswords etc, and alch them. The price would probably go up
