report someone when you log on rs lol!

hey, it is up to you to report them but, a friend of mine shown me some quite disturbing screenshots and videos about someone on runescape, who is going around harassing ppl he thinks are women, asking for nude pictures, and saying kind of foal comments turds them, then going and calling them fat/ Nword/ etc. etc. when they refuse to show nude pictures, him and his friend both. up to you guys to decide if they deserve it however, it would be kind of nice to have other people feel the same way and a little disturbed at it, when my friend stepped in at one incident in a clan chat, this one guy tried to have his friend do a fail troll at him lol...

I would show you the videos however they have my friends name in them, but I will be more then happy to screenshot/cropt out his name to show the convos

 

I would report them but if I was online and tried to it says that the person isn't present with me or hasn't talked near for so long so it won't work, if I remember correctly.

 

Go to a different world? Lol You have to see the event occur for it to be reportable

To report someone for something they said you have to have been near them. One report should be fine though. You just waste time by sending in multiple reports.

 

I wouldn't worry about it, Jagex doesn't really take much looks at reports anyways. All of the times I have been muted were only by moderators. I have been reported numerous times for things I probably should get muted for but nothing ever happens.

Not to mention if the users are offline when we try to report them it won't let us because it will tell us they must have spoken in past 60 seconds or w/e.

 

Why report them? It's the women that deserve an IP ban

 

I think it's enough punishment knowing those kids are probably getting fake nudes from 40 year old men posing as girls...

OP is 10 year old who is trying to get someone who hurt his feelings banned.

 

I would put it looks odd to log in then seconds later report 2 people I have never seen....

 

So the question is 'should they be reported?'? If so, then yeah. Not all, but some of the posts already on this thread you can tell were made by people who are immature themselves.

Guys like the ones described ingame need to grow up and realize that sexist comments, etc. are not funny at all. The ones who are bothered by them get the bad end? The ones who are making the comments are the ones who have problems, tbh.

Sorry for my input here(to all those who find those jokes funny) but this kind of incident bugs the hell out of me. You shouldn't have to ignore this type of situation, it shouldn't be happening. People like the ones described in the OP are one of the reasons the community is as bad as it is now.
