Anyone here was it the Fally Massacre 2006?

I remember very clearly my main got banned i was level 112 at the time i quit runescape after that for 5 years lol

 

I'm sure I remember that... I believe that was when you did a glitch in someone's home and you can kill other noobs outside of 'pvp' areas. I didn't get banned as I didn't participate in the event. I remember there were JMODS spamming everyone telling them to bank everything...

 

I was there. Wasn't really pissed by that time, was having a break

 

It was so much fun, my friends made so much money that day.

 

I was in the house party, however I didn't end up with the big mass of people until they were nearby Varrock.

 

I was on as it was happening but in a different world.

 

I nearly got there
I got on like 2 mina before it ended and my friend told, was over just as I got there.

 

I remember that, I got banned.. maybe I could appeal it!

 

I went to the party, and joined the mass of people north of fally. It was pretty sweet lol.

 

I wasn't at the location at the time. Though, I did read up on it a lot. For anyone who doesn't know what happened:

When construction came out, Cursed You was the first one to reach 99. He hosted a party. Tons of people came and a lot of them were in the combat rings. Then cursed you expelled everyone from his house because there was too many people. But, everyone who was in the combat ring had the option to 'attack' other players outside of the PvP areas. So, some users abused this by killing others.

I heard about it after it happaned but didn't get to go. How long were they able to kill other players anywhere? Could they hop worlds? Because I know if I could kill other players I would go straight to party hat hill in world 2 with barrage.

 

I was alching in cammy when this happened. Banked then teled to fally to watch the lemmings.

I'm pretty sure I was playing at the time that it happened, but I don't remember being anywhere near falador. Kind of sucks that I couldn't see it live, but I don't think I would have wanted to be there anyway

 

I remember well when it happened. It was someone's 99 construction party (the first to reach 99), can't remember their name at the moment. He ejected everyone from his house, and those who were in the combat ring for some reason retained the ability to use PVP. Durial321 was the main culprit, who killed several and got millions of gp worth of items (eg Green Phat).

I wasn't there, but I was using the forums at the time and remember 10s/100s of threads popping up entitled 'World 111 glitch'/'fally massacre'. Also quite interesting that it was on the 6/6/6 - no Jagex intervention huh?

Also the name of the guy with 99 construction just came back to me - Cursed You

 

Cursed You got banned as well even though it wasn't his fault lol

 

He got banned for RWT, not for the falador massacre.

 

i was at his party i abused the glitch myself i made 1.6bil in like 30 mins but got perm banned the next day and never traded what i earned from my main to a mule :/

 

That glitch was funny I remember the mass amount of people camping north of varrok in lvl 1 wild they though they were smart and got owned by people who decided to mage outside of wild lol. Although I got raped and lost 2mil it was still funny to see people crying over losing banks or thinking they were brave.
