Would you still be playing?

If you never found out about bots or they never existed do you think you'd still be playing since that exact moment you started botting? Feel free to describe how you found out about botting.

I think I prob would be still be playing or still have my accounts and have a good account. I remember when I used to love fishing on my main and found out about botting through a friend of mine that fished alot. Once I found out I told most of the members of my cc and they started botting lmao. I feel bad though because they ended up getting banned and alot of them were maxed CB. Only a few were botting and banned but still lol. To be honest I wish botting didn't exist because I was able to play legit back when I didn't know but it's so hard now to play legit when you know you can bot.

 

I never did botting for a long time.
I had a very good pker that was 100% legti, i remember rock crabing for hours to get that last level.
Then my account got banned for rwt, i borrowed gp from a real life friend, so i say it wasnt a legit reason too ban .
Then i thought you know i played this game fair for years and i get screwed, so i thought i should bot!
So i googled it, and i found this site, read up on botting, and bam i started botting

and the reason i still play is, i love pking and the anticipation of what a monster is going to drop haha.

 

I wouldn't be playin without bots...
The game isn't fun enough till you have a tone of high levels and you can do what you want, I simply wouldn't have reached those levels without a bot as I'd rather go out than stay in on rs.

 

I played RS legitly for years, and up until a couple years ago, I had no idea that bots even existed. One day a close friend told me that he had botted for most of his levels. I looked into it, tried it out, and haven't looked back since. I find botting makes the game more fun, because you can get the levels you want much quicker and it does the skills you don't like doing for you.

 

I knew about bots since playing in RSC, but never used them until I was getting 99 mage on my first account, got sick of it and got SCAR with an Auto Alching script.

The version of SCAR I got had a keylogger aimed at stealing PayPal information, so I ended up getting rid of it (before my PayPal got owned, happily) and finished off 99 mage legit.

Since then I have done everything legit. I have auths that I have never used for like 4 different types of bots, just incase I ever cave in

So I guess you can tell that with my past botting history, I haven't relied on it at all so RS wouldn't really be any more boring/etc. without bots.

Actually, I can only see a positive to no bots: Less crowded everywhere XD

I played a while without bots. Unfortunately, I'm so used to using them now. I wouldn't still be playing.

 

Botting keeps me playing lol.

Sure, ive spent over 3 years playign legit, it was very fun though I never got a 99 legit

 

I've never been much a bot person (Except for Autoclicking). I considered it one time when I was like 13 but, after hearing that some people had been keylogged after using some bots, I was just kinda like 'meh'

 

When I first started Runescape I knew about bots and heard rumors that if you set one up some times they never stop and just keep skilling on your account forever with you having no control over it (LMAO) I got introduced to it when my friend got 99 hunter in like 2 weeks and I was like how the fuck did you do that? He tells me botting so im like im getting into that shit and have been botting ever since.

Also, I wouldn't be playing the game without bots. Runescape has WAY too much grinding for my taste, I like it served to me on a platter via bots

 

never botted my self, i bought an copy of perf fight but cant seem to get it working x.x

other then that 5+ years of playing legit only got me to 116 combat, (on and off) im going to see how fast i can get to maxed with botting x.x

Botting rules. Got 14m-20m xp in firemake in just 2 days.

i hate the game i just like botting gives me something to do lol watch the bot work/set it up while playing xbox or doing homework

 

Yeah, i prob would be playing less since bots raised my noncombat skills, which allowed me to quests and such. Without bots, I'd prob be stuck with only pking on my range tank.

 

To be honest, I'm not that interested in Runescape anymore. I only go on to PK or play minigames for a couple hours. I used to love quests but I don't enjoy them anymore for some reason. :l I still have Summer's End and MEP2 started.

I kinda went off on a tangent, anyway I'd probably quit if I couldn't bot.

 

I probally would have quit at the luring update if there wasn't botting. When I came back after free trade I made millions from luring/scamming. Then I got constantly muted from scamming and luring became less profitable. I got into botting from my neighbor who had a collection of accounts with 90+ fishing.

 

Possibly. Although it'd be more boring.

 

Not too sure, this is a different pathway. RuneScape would not be where it is now without bots.

I don't think I'd play, after I left primary school I lost most interest/dedication to playing legit.

I play legit for like 5mins, turn the bot on and let it do its work. My botting project is just amazing.
