Bandos Solo/Arma

What gear and inventory should I use when I solo bandos/arma?
I've got a Chaotic Rapier and a Chaotic Crossbow.
99 Att, Str, Def, Hp, Range.
94 Mage, 50 Prayer (Yeah it sucks).
I can't use overloads.
Money isn't that big of an issue.
I've got bandos plate and legs, and arma plate and legs.
69 Summoning

 

Get that herblore and summoning up. And prayer DEFINITELY needs to increase.

 

money aint an option? blow it away on herby/prayer/summoning.. trust me, we've all had to do it sooner or later.. its sad to spend close to 500m on 3 skills but, it pays off

 

should really get herblore for overloads or extremes.
then your prayer should be like 75+
summoning should be 70+

then you can go

*Completing the Elite Seer's Village Tasks and all previous difficulties is very useful, as it will make the special effects of enchanted bolts activate more often. One does not need to be wearing the Seer's headband 4 to get this effect.
**The chaotic crossbow provides 30 more Ranged attack bonus points than the rune crossbow. However, the chaotic crossbow costs a lot more to keep due to the fact it degrades.

To be honest, I wouldn't solo with those stats :S.

At least get Piety before attempting or it's a guaranteed crash.

Bare minimum:
Piety/Turmoil
Turtle/Yak (Unicorn in inventory of the familiars)
Extremes/Overload

You already have the gear part, I'd just sell it and buy extremes.

 

To prevent crashes, you could go to non-ls world. Lesser chance of getting crashed by bigger teams. As others said tho, getting herblore up is highly recommended because extremes or overloads are very helpful. Killing them faster means they can't attack you as fast.

Whenever I go to arma (it's not solo, usually trio or 4 people), I carry brews and restore pots in a 3 to 1 ratio. Stats reduced by 3 sips of brew usually can be restored with 1 sip of super restore pot. Never tried with fruit bat scroll, so can't really comment on its usefulness in a solo when you get hit relatively fast. I know what people do is that they bring a BoB with a Fruitball pouch in the BoB and use Fruitbat pouch when BoB ends or becomes empty.

 

if your going to solo arma get summoning up to 88 for unicorn and herb to 92 for extreme range pots also prayer to +70

 

Getting herb and prayer is a MUST also high range.
