I think runescape should remove the ge completely.. its fucking up all weps, ags used to be what like 80m, now its 52m and claws 30-35m now its 19.. wtf jagex, remove the ge and let us make our own prices etc.. also tbh i think rs should make different weathers on rs, imagine pking in the snow or in the rain?? or pking at night?? imagine that lmfaoooooo

that's why ags and all kind of weapons are so cheap now. it's not the merchers problems now. it's the botters..

It's not the GE, so much as the people whoring out their goldfarming bots.
The bots are just throwing too much gold into the game.

Players do. The price is the price. GE doesn't do anything.

 

Yeah I have no problem with people botting skills so they can have more access to parts of the game and enjoy it.I do have a problem with people running 100+ bots at a time destroying the economy it's really starting to get out of hand now.

 

It's annoying the ge has limits because if I want to buy 25k nats, i buy 25k through the ge and then have to wait 4 hours. I can't just go to varrock east bank and there's people selling 100k+ nats.

 

The limits keep people from hoarding large amounts of items

Weathers has been debated before.

Jagex doesn't want to do it because people play all over the world, and it wouldn't be correct if we were having a night-time RuneScape when it's the morning in the US, etc.

 

Well Jagex does base all of there days around UK time. And goldfarming is ruining the game.

To be honest, I would not even mind that much. I have almost everything I need now so there is not much I buy at the Grand Exchange now.

 

Mini map would mess up the weather idea, but imagine no mini map for wildy area and weathers. Would give a whole new element to pking since you'd need to figure out stats vs camoflauge gear.

 

The GE has no effect on the the prices going down. If Jagex really wanted to fix the prices falling harshly they would up their security against bots.

 

Everyone who's mentioned about the people running like 100+ goldfarming bots each, they pretty much answered your question right there. Pretty nothing else even comes close to damaging like those.

 

Well, what do you expect about the gold farming bots? Free trade was reinstated with that come the bots.
