    Renting A Staker?

So I have never staked before but I saw all of these threads about renting out stakers. I was wondering what the possible earnings of around only 7m starting cash. (I am really low on cash which is really the only reason I am willing to do this.) How would you recommend spreading out the money? What kind of staking do you recommend? (Maxed staker account) I have never staked before but I know the earning potential is high.

Most of the accounts being rented out don't come with items, so you can either box or mage box (if the account has 99 mage).

Both methods are close to 50/50 gambling imo, if you don't know anything about staking then I probably wouldn't bother

Renting a staker is better if you have the money but don't have the account to do it. I would start with more cash before renting, staking has high earning potential but the loss potential is the same. You could get cleaned in one game, you could win a few in a row.

Umm, I don't see how this would work :p

    Arn't accounts like 1m+/h?

Anyways, just get some more cash before you even start staking, and if you have no clue how to stake, don't even bother. Find a different way to make money.

Dont bother.... starting on 7m with no experience will just be a waist of time and money.

You could try boxing but its all luck. I would just make money by training/skilling.

I concur. If you were trying to make a profit, you'd be starting with around 6m after renting the account, and losing 1m would put you at 5m. After that you'd need to bet 2m to make a profit, leaving you with 3m if you lose.

If you wanna just give it one shot, rent a maxed staker for 1m/hr so 1 hour, then box another maxed combat account and stake your remaingin 6m, you either get cleaned or leave with 12m :)

If you have no experience than don't bother. You will just waste your 7m.

    Renting A Staker?

Well, I have like 15m if I sold off my show off armor but I figured I would go in with 4m. Stake in 1m increments and hope for something special, haha. I have been reading up on staking, it seems to be more complex than I first considered.

I want some staking experience, so any suggestions on that would be nice.

"Renting" sounds like a bad idea to me, say you just won 500M from a stake, the renter DDOS'es you, recovers his account back and claims his newly scammed 500M. If you really want a nice staker account, make a new character and bot him up, and if you get sick of it just sell the character.

Recovering an account takes more than just a few seconds.
There's not that much risk involved with renting. If you're really paranoid, you can xfer off your cash before you leave to eat lunch or something, but there should be no real risk.

Even if you were DDOS'd, you could reset your router/get a new IP before the owner was able to successfully recover his account and steal your gp.

    Renting A Staker?

I rented a maxed staker for an hour, started with 10m gp of my own cash. Got up to 16m, then lost it down to 4m. Eventually, I got it back up to my original 10m. It really is mostly about luck and how much you stake, just plan your stakes accordingly and make sure NEVER to stake a higher amount after you win.

I'm not sure how renting a staker works, but either way be careful when you stake if you don't have experience. Most people just box, and in that case it's 50/50. But that doesn't mean that you'll break even eventually. I've been cleaned a couple times from boxing by losing like 10 times in a row. All boxes are independent from the previous, so don't think that just because you lost a couple that you will win the next one. If you're more comfortable with mage, then make sure you get first hit, that will increase your chances of winning to maybe 65/35. But many people who mage stake have pid and it's difficult to have a fair chance at first hit. So make them log out and back in infront of you before you fight them.

People are tricky, and I've made a lot of money through staking but I've also lost a lot. Anyway, if you're just doing it as a gambling thing, then just box and see how your character's (or your rented character's) luck goes! Goodluck.

Woah woah woah. Where'd you get 500m from? OP has 7m. Second, how would the renter even know you put 500m or won 500m unless you told them. Third how would the renter even get your IP in the first place untill after you are finished renting. Fourth, not everyone is a DDOS'r with a master plan like you described. Fifth, there are a ton of trusted renters atm, myself included. Sixth, botting your own account is a good idea.

If you get DDOS'd you will lag out of the game... that's when the owner would sign in and take anything.. but as I said, this is very unlikely

As everyone else is saying, you need to be careful if you're going to be renting an account. Purchase off trusted people only, bank any high-value items you win, put on a bank PIN, and keep your private chat either 'Off', or 'Friends Only' if you don't have the sellers RSN added.
