Dc'ing all the time.

Within 30seconds of logging onto runescape, I get a connection lost. It dc's and i have to completely relogin, I have no idea what is going on.
This is mostly ( i think) happening in world 124, 137 (non protect pk worlds).
I just tried google chrome and it still isn't working.
Also, right now it is, but it has series and stop connecting for a good 15mins then i can play again for 10 ish, something like that ( i gave up after 5mins of dcing)

Also, My download is 6.7mbps and upload is 0.8.
I am from Australia.
My pin is 21ms (speedtest.net)


Computer is running at around 25-40% when running runescape.
physical memory is running at 915mb (about middle)
total 2047, casched, 1018, avail 1131, free 156.
I know theres a command to get the specs of your computer so if someone could remind me, I'd love to give more detail.

forgot to add: I normally run facebook, hypem (streaming music website - but sometimes turn off when pking) and maybe something else, like sythe.

Well for one it could be you streaming music and for two i have dc problems with some worlds and im from australia aswell so just try going to a different world.

Try running Rs with their downloadable client. Then set the clients priority to high, tell me how that works.

Mate, not a nooby question.

1) Right click your taskbar (down the bottom of the screen.)
2) Start Task Manager
3) Click the "Processes" tab.
4) *I'm not sure what the rs client will be called..* Right click on a process called javaw.exe, or rune*scape.exe. It'll be up near the top when RS is running. If you can see a Runescape.exe or something similar in Processes, set it to high as well.
5) Click "Set Priority", and then set to High or Realtime.
6) Done.

I DC all the time as well though. It's my ISP screwing me over though.

 

Thanks, priortity is set to highest, im playing in chrome and its just been playing up last 5mins. If this doesn't fix it, ill try the runescape client, and if that doesn't work, ill ask again, could someone bump this or something so i will be able to post (doesn't let you post if you were the last poster) thanks

edit, just dced after the priority change, will try again, and if it happens i will download rs client
edit edit: just dc'ed again, downloading client (it dc;s within 30secs)

 

I had problems with google chrome try using a different browser I started using mozzilla haven't had any problems yet, on chrome I got continuous white screens and try closing a few things that could possibly mess up your connection

 

CTRL+SHIFT+ESC is a quicker way to the Task Manager

Download rockmelt, or swiftkit, or something of that nature. Just a different platform, I personally have not disconnection problems (Other than slow internet) through FireFox.

Its not white screen just connection lost (then dc), i could make a vid to show... Priority were/are set to high.
Also, swiftkit wasn't working as i have to download a java or something, just kept fucking up..

This guy seems to be having the same issue, but i am unaware of how he delete the 'cache'?

 

Delete cache, had to resign everything, and bam, within 1 min, i fucking dc. this is bullshit
(reinstalled newest java)

Thats strange. And you've got a good connection? (<If your using Wifi). Try changing you password Maybe someone's kicking you off when you log-in. Have you tried using a VPN, then load RS up?

 

Haven't tried that, i'm on a wired connection.
