What do you think Jagex needs to improve on with 07?

They need to bring chaotic weapons, dragon claws and curses ( Turmoil and SS ) Into the game. Thats what i'd like to see.

 

I would also be a fan of 2010 scape.

 

HD graphics would be good, make the animations more smooth..

Yeah I miss the better graphics... Let's be real, we didn't want 07 scape, we wanted Fuck-eoc-scape lol. Anything before eoc was good, 2007 is just a bit too far back imo.

 

Well seeing as Runescape peaked in players in 2006/7 then a majority would disagree with you. Most play still due to nostalgia.

 

It peaked then when we were all 11-12 haha, the nostalgia has passed for many people, I think it's time to introduce the HD once more.

 

But what about those kids who run this game on literal potatoes ? They would have to make HD option to be switched on and off, I think there was a post on reddit about how some people just play runescape because thats the onyl game they can run smoothly or w/e. Tbh I dont care for graphics so even if introduced I would stay on the current graphics. But introducing more variety into PvP like claws/korasi/vesta would be fun just cuz OPSCAPE.

 

That's the thing, HD graphics would run better on post people's PC as it'll pull from the gpu/apu instead of the cpu. Yeah I'd like to see vesta/statius in the game as well.

 

Rs actually peaked at around 2010 the numbers were off the charts but definitely skewed because that was the height of nexus when everyone could 24/7 with flawless botting.

 

I wonder how they would fare if they introduced another server, which was just pre-eoc, with chaotics, claws, etc. So they would have 3 servers: 07, RS3, and Pre-eoc.

Do you think people would migrate to such a server or it would possibly introduce a higher playerbase for the community?

 

Issue with that is people would have to start over AGAIN. Some people LOVE that, but it would make some people quit as they don't want to start over and their already pretty dead server is only getting smaller :\

 

Would it be beneficial to just update 07 into an eoc based server? Or maybe let people keep their 07 stats on the eoc server, but have no gold on that server, so its a fresh eco but the same stats (so its not like a full restart). Not sure if people would want that though.

 

Pid swaps, bounty hunter, the glitch where your opponent dies and you don't get the loot, more quests, dragon claws, be able to reset defense, the piety mage and range versions, world map on the osrs client, guild improvements, stealing creations+soul wars mixed together (kieren was in favor of this on last stream), and other stuff.

 

Nah if pre-eoc was to be released i would be in favour in a full reset and to play again from scratch that is the period people actually most enjoy the grind the hype of being top 10 hiscores or w/e

 

Yeah, but a lot of people wouldn't. I'd prefer the grind as well, but I know a lot of people wouldn't so I'd be in favor of a simple soft-eco reset.

 

Fuck no, im not starting over a 4th time (rs3,07,dmm) so far and not doing it again. They should just release the items on 07 and be done with that, less work for them and not another pointless update as they are already struggling with shit content and shit that makes no sense..like zeah, they marketed it really well but turned out to be shit with just dead content. They like to keep costs low, quality low and just shit in everyway fuck this game. Thank fuck i had enough brains left to stop paying 10 bucks a month for this shit

 

I'd like to see dragon claws, as well as gambling be re-introduced to Runescape.

 

Gambling promotes rwt. I doubt that will ever come back to the game.
