Help with DT (15 Prayer)

Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone else is trying to do DT and is ready. I have a low level pure that needs it but it's only got 15 prayer. I'm not a quester really, so I'll take any help or advice I can get. Especially if you can help me boss or block for me!

I made a maxed 13 pray pure back in the old days of RS2. Questing on it was a bitch, but it was worth it and rewarding to say the least. Make sure you utilize a cannon against any bosses. That was the difference between success and failure. Stamina pots make it a lot easier now as well.

Cannon, cannon, cannon, cannon.

 

My stats are high enough to not really NEED a cannon but I'm kind of staling on DT. I'm trying to convince myself to stay 15 prayer all the way through... :'(

 

As I remember it wasn't horribly bad, As stated cannon helps ALOT through out, the biggest struggle I recall would have been the wolves for the ice diamond.

 

What parts did you cannon and did you need someone for the wolves part on the ice diamond?

 

You can use a cannon at Dessous and it might also be helpful to use a cannon when getting the ice troll kc. You should also be able to do the shadow/smoke diamonds by yourself, so you would only really need help with the ice diamond. I would offer to block for you but I actually haven't done DT on my current account yet :embar: I should have it done in the next few days if you still need help then though.

I believe I was around here when I did it:
60 Attack, 80 Strength 80 Range, 80 Mage.
You need a cannon for desseous and kamil. I didn't use a blocker for kamil. I stood behind the big stone and set up my cannon. It killed him within 10-ish cannon balls and that was that. Didn't take any damage (doesn't teleport to you since you're not attacking him). I also used the cannon, as someone stated, to kill the ice trolls.

I recently finished B gloves on my 15 pray zerker. DT and MM are by far the worst quests to do. I died once during DT.

Blood diamond/Dessous: Used a Trident of the swamp. Easy kill.

Ice diamond/Kamil: Used Fire blast and had someone block the wolves part for me. Fight was real close.

Smoke diamond/Fareed: Used the highest level Water spell I could use with Ice gloves equipped. Died once, didn't think this guy could hit 35s, otherwise I would have eaten up. Beat him second time around, but it was a close fight.

Shadow diamond/Damis: Trident of the swamp. For some reason I could not get the safe spot to work against this guy. My character would just walk away from the torch and then Damis would deal so much damage. I ran out of food, but luckily I had venomed the guy so I just waited for it to kill him while I was hiding behind a wall, then I looted the diamond and tele'd away.

 

Yeah I'll probably get a cannon for these parts, it seems to work really well. I'll let you know if meteor doesn't get back to me soon! Thanks brother!

 

Yeah bro, these quests definitely suck. Especially when you hate questing as it is. . But Gratz on your completion man!!

 

Yeah I can relate to Aufi. I remember BARELY getting by on a few of the diamonds. I don't think I ever died though. I did have to tellie out after Kamil and come back to go up the ice path after banking. Yeah shoot me a pm man.

 

get a friend to tank for the ice one, its an absolute bitch, i did it with 15 prayer too

 

Smh -- I'm still lagging on doing this quest. LOL

 

U can do it urself easy with phoenix neck's + brews I did it on my lvl 45 pure (13 pray)

Just wanted to give a shout out to Meteor for helping me with DT! We knocked it out in a couple hours. It took a little longer than expected because I got owned a bunch of times. So sorry for that Meteor, but thanks again man! You are a gentlemen and a scholar!
