Stay F2p or Go P2p Pking?

Okay Ladies and Gentlemen!

Titles says it! Right now I'm 59 cb, with high stats and 1 prayer as a f2p pure. I'm having a lot of fun but I'm stuck on this dilemma of staying a F2p pure with 1 prayer. A lot of other pkers have gotten prayer up for obvious reasons and their cb lvls have gone up and I'm one of the few that still honoring the 1 prayer thing for a low cb. I know it doesn't matter much, but I do very well value a pker in the 60-70s cb with 1 prayer still. I do look up to them. Everyone kind of knows each other in Edge that's around your cb. You know how it is. But my question to you guys is what would you do? Do I get 44 prayer for higher maxes, protection prayers and do some quests like priest and peril, Ava's, creature of Frenkenstrain and DT? Or do I just stick with 1 prayer and just hold it down? I'm looking to reach out to you pkers out there that might still pk in both f2p and p2p, Should I also just go for 50 Att or stay 40? Please help me out guys! SMH!

I prefer 1 prayer because arrows can be picked up, and DT isn't really a necessity for edge pking. 50 attack would help though

 

Keep it f2p and make a new account for p2p, or you can do vice versa.

 

I'd say go for P2p, work your way from a gmaul pure up to an ags pure
Why an ags pure?
Ags pures are really fun to pk on, there is a lot of activity at 75 cb +

 

You can get Ava's and do DT while still staying low prayer (I think it's something like 11 or 15 prayer). There was a streamer on Twitch I used to follow who had this kind of low prayer build with 60 attack (think his name was iHansy), and the 3 or 4 combat level advantage you get is actually pretty significant. The only downside is you can't (easily) get fire cape.

 

Stay 40 attack, but get 13 prayer it's worth it.

 

If I get 13 I might as well do DT and keep the low prayer going. What level do suggest 13 prayer works best? And why not just go for 44 if you're getting prayer anyways

 

13 is for 10% strength boost, 44 would be too many combat levels, you want to stay low combat level and yes you could get dt on.

Valid points. But I'm gonna admit right now I hate recharging prayer especially if it's 13 it's gonna go out too quick in F2p

 

Don't get Prayer if you're F2p! I have an account with 40 Attack, 90 Str and 1 Prayer @ 62 cb and people do indeed respect you more for it . I would reconsider if there was a way to recharge your Prayer points in combat, but as is I do not think it's worth the few extra CB levels

 

Definitely stay 1 prayer and F2P. I also have a 40 Attack / 80 Str / 1 Pray pure, love it.

Make a new account for P2P, you can quest it up to like 44 Attack and like 30 Strength very fastly in P2P and start from there.

get 15prayer (animal magnetism) and become a 15pray gmauler with ava's, my account used to be once and I used to shred high risk fights. Gl with whatever you decide to do.

I agree. And if you do make a new account, there are more efficient training methods you can do p2p for example leveling attack higher will allow you to train str with dragon weps etc.

 

I prefer p2p pking personally.

 

After many years of making numerous pures, both 50 attack maxed range -> maul/ Range -> DDS and initiate pures, i can honestly say that having a void ranger is by far the most fun type of edge pking with veng.

You get the best of both worlds as a Void pker in p2p because you can gain hp levels with strength and not level combat.

40 attack 99strength 42defence is the same combat as 99str 99range 42 def.

So you can P2P void pk and maxed out main rune pure at like lvl 85.

I would honestly turn you main pure in to this type of account, if you like to f2p pk low level then simply make a new 1 def/1pray account and train it to basic stats such as 70 range 60 strength 40 att 1 pray 1 def.

Would not take you too long at all!

 

Up to you. I'd stay F2P and create another account for P2P PK'ing.

 

Personally, I love F2P pking. Range / 2h pking in the 30-40 combat zone is and will always be my favorite. However, if you're getting bored with that, you may want to invest in membership, as it adds many new weapons that are pretty fun
