Have gold prices crashed again?

Just noticed most big time sellers are now at $2-2.05/M instead of like $2.1-$2.2/M.
Even sites like bogla have gone down to $2.09/M.
Do you guys think it will keep crashing during summer or make a slight rise again?

 

well its already summer and it hasn't gone up

 

It should stay the same/start rising hopefully (theres still a month/two for most people in summer).

 

How come season effects price?

 

Idea is that more people play in the summer and so more demand. More demand increases prices.

Well in Scotland it is summer but yea places like England etc are still at school.

Going to gather big bulks of 07 whilst its cheap just in case

 

School just finished in most places. Give it some time to go up from the summer demand.

Last summer gold went from $2.8/m to almost $4/m. But there is a lot more gold now and tbh idk how many new players are coming back into the game, last summer was definitely good for old school. We'll just have to wait and see I guess

 

More gameplay is also more gp made in game. Also more game content has been added which makes you easy money like zulrah and other new bosses.

Last summer the amount of botters also increased by a lot!

I dont think this summer will increase the rate by a lot.

 

If some people are still in school, maybe thats why we havent seen a rise in GP prices yet.On the other hand, the game becomes easier and easier for most of people, that means more and more gold will be made.I think the prices will keep going down overall untill it reaches some point and stays the same.

 

I think that after summer is over, gold will start to rise again.

 

School has been out for almost 2 weeks where I'm from and I haven't seen anything but crash in price.

 

Prices don't seem to be changing atm. I could be wrong but I'd venture to guess that they will remain static for a while

 

School has been out for a month+ for most places in USA. If gold were to rise I would imagine it would be soon.

 

Does anyone have a graph of the users online on OSRS since its release? That would interest me.

 

The 07 team just needs to get its ass in gear and start releasing some updates that matter. Gold sink, better content, something that will draw more players. Damn Archie doing nothing but making videos. When the GE was released the price of gold skyrocketed.
