Being banned at NMZ, when not botting?

One of my accounts got a 1day bot busting ban at nmz while afk training it on a VPS on a regular runescape client.

Has this ever occurred to anyone else, and is there anything particular that you think may have led to this ban? Only thing I can think of is using a VPS might be suspicious, or the long period of times the account was online for might be suspicious.

Chances are something else led to the ban. Just because you were banned, doesn't mean it was what you were doing at the time, or even that day that caused it.

 

Now this is putting me off from training at NMZ, thanks Bogla.

Please let me know if you got a false ban.

 

Afk training is not allowed either, perhaps you got banned for that, as a 1 day ban for botting would seem like a very small punishment.

 

VPS IP is probably flagged

Wrong, there has never been a rule against afk training. Jagex's stance on macroing has always been the 1 input for every 1 output rule.

 

No other chance for offenses.

@Wolf yeah that's what I was thinking, I switched it to home IP this morning.

Will update this thread if it gets banned, so that we can rule out the VPS.

 

Is the account attached to an IP which relieved a ban recently? Sometimes they "bot bust" when another account is perm banned.
